Vancouver – Victoria

This morning, you'll make your own way to the meeting point to depart Vancouver on a driver guided coach tour to Victoria. Cruise across Georgia Strait through the beautiful Gulf Islands with BC Ferries. Arriving on Vancouver Island, tour to Butchart Gardens (Admission included). A two-hour stop allows time to enjoy these magnificent gardens. Tour scenic Ocean Drive, Uplands, Oak Bay, University of Victoria as well as the Victoria City Tour before being taken to your hotel in Victoria.

Victoria
This morning, join a whale watching tour. This coastal excursion is an exhilarating round trip of 50 to 80 kilometres search of orcas, minke whales, grey whales, porpoises, harbour seals and other marine wildlife. Comments by a certified marine biologist and naturalist are provided. Balance of the day is free to explore Victoria.

Victoria – Vancouver

Enjoy a free day to explore Victoria before departing mid-afternoon on a scenic float plane flight to return to Coal Harbour Downtown Vancouver. Make your own way to the pier to check-in for your cruise aboard Holland America cruise.

Granville Island is Canada’s second most-visited destination, behind Niagara Falls, and Vancouver’s destination for lovers of food, art and culture. During the tour, guests eat their way through the world-famous Public Market and hear the intriguing stories, culture, and history behind the tasty creations. Tour highlights include: locally-cured meats, small production local cheeses, and freshly-baked artisan bread. Touring the Granville Island Public Market is one of the most authentic ways to experience Vancouver.

Vancouver – Kamloops

Board the Rocky Mountaineer train this morning for your first day of the spectacular rail journey into the interior of British Columbia.

Continue eastwards to the mighty Canadian Rockies and the province of Alberta. See a spectacular array of scenery as you travel across ranch lands, along rocky lakeshores, over high mountain passes and through the remarkable tunnels that form part of the rich rail history of the Canadian Rockies.

Banff
This morning, tour the town of Banff and its environs. Among the highlights are visits to the Hoodoos, Bow Valley Viewpoint, Surprise Corner, Bow Falls, Lake Minnewanka and the Banff Gondola for a breathtaking ascent to the pinnacle of Sulphur Mountain. Return to downtown Banff at your leisure. (Transfer not included)

Banff – Lake Louise

Depart Banff early afternoon for a short drive via the scenic Bow Valley to Lake Louise. Enjoy the rest of the day at leisure.

A full day at leisure to explore the heart of the Canadian Rockies.

Lake Louise - Jasper

Today, you will enjoy a sightseeing tour of Banff and Jasper national parks via the Icefields Parkway. Among the highlights are Bow Lake, the Columbia Icefield, Glacier Skywalk and Athabasca Falls. The Columbia Icefield is one of the largest accumulations of ice south of the Arctic Circle and one of the most accessible icefields in North America. Here, you will ride on an Ice Explorer to the middle of the Athabasca Glacier to learn more about its geological features. Arrive in Jasper late this afternoon.

Jasper

The town of Jasper and its surrounding area it occupies the largest inhabitable valley in the Canadian Rockies, which means more food for “All Creatures Great and Small”.

Jasper - Toronto

Board VIA Rail’s “The Canadian” for an unforgettable train journey! The original stainless steel “streamliner” railcar, made famous by the “Canadian” in the 1950’s, are totally refurbished with air conditioning. Relax in the dome car and experience stunning 360-degree views. Follow the Athabasca River out of the Canadian Rockies to enter the Great Central Plains of Canada, stretching east for a thousand miles through Alberta, Saskatchewan and Manitoba.

Travel through the heartland of Canada; pass the plains that are the “bread basket” of the nation and home to huge ranches and wheat farms spread across this vast landscape.

Experience the sights of Canada’s largest and most diverse city. Tour highlights include: the Eaton Centre, Chinatown, CN Tower, and Old and New City Halls, with opportunity for pictures along the way. Optional drop off available at the Harbour Tour and the CN Tower.

Toronto - Niagara Falls

This morning, transfer to your Niagara Falls hotel, the rest of the day is at leisure.
