Day 6

Upon check-out of your hotel, your tour ends.

Day 1

Upon your arrival into Montreal, make your own way to your downtown hotel and enjoy the rest of the day at leisure.  

Day 2

This morning, you will enjoy a private gastronomic walking tour to discover the culinary, cultural and historical charms of the oldest district of Montreal. Hosted in old warehouses and showrooms of the 19th era, some food boutiques open their doors to allow you to taste their delicacies. Through small and narrow cobblestone streets, your guide explains the influence of the Amerindians and the nuns on the food habits. Continue with a sightseeing boat cruise in the afternoon to explore Montreal and its islands to the rhythm of the river aboard the Bateau-Mouche. Discover the many splendours of a landscape that is both urban and natural. 

Day 3
Montreal (VIA Rail)

This morning, you will check out of your hotel and make your own way to the station where you board your VIA Rail train bound for Halifax. Settle yourself in your cabin for 2 as you begin your journey. Stretch out in your cosy quarters and lose track of time as you cross the Maritimes.

Day 4

This morning, you will wake aboard the train as you continue to travel to Halifax. Arrive in Halifax in the afternoon and then make your own way to your hotel.

Day 5
Halifax - Peggy’s Cove - Halifax

This morning, you have some free time to explore Halifax before joining your tour to Peggy’s Cove. Peggy’s Cove has been an artist and explorer’s paradise for well over 150 years. This picture postcard village, on the rugged Atlantic shoreline, stands on solid rock above the crashing surf. The lighthouse is the most photographed lighthouse in the world. Enjoy some free time to explore the rocks, the trails, the village and the gift shops.
