The museum digs further about the land, people, and history of the Northwest Territories. At the evening, fill your eyes with the spectacle of Aurora Borealis lighting up the sky. On arrival, there will be time to relax before an evening welcome dinner, where we will meet the rest of the group.
This morning, we travel to Great Slave Lake. Here, we will observe an aboriginal ice fishing demonstration, then continue to a lodge where we will enjoy a feast of freshly caught fish. Tonight, following dinner, we have time at leisure before heading out for Aurora Viewing.
Today, we will explore Yellowknife on an informative city tour, including a visit to the Prince of Wales Northern Heritage Centre. We have this afternoon at our leisure before tonight’s Aurora Borealis Viewing.
This morning, we will enjoy a dog sledding experience. First, we willl visit the kennels to meet the dogs followed by a scenic dog sled ride through the snowy terrain. This afternoon, we will try our hand at Snowmobiling, stopping along the way to take photos and play on Yellowknife’s pristine frozen
lakes. Tonight, enjoy a farewell dinner followed by our last night of Aurora Borealis Viewing.
Today, your Yellowknife adventure comes to an end following breakfast and check out of the hotel.
