Rarotonga Airport → Pacific Resort Rarotonga

Upon arrival at Rarotonga Airport you will be greeted with Fresh "Flower Ei" and escorted to your private transfer to Pacific Resort Rarotonga. Along the way you will enjoy a refreshing juice or piccolo bubbly with chilled towels.

In an effort to eliminate plastics on the island, you will also receive an aluminium water bottle with pure water for use and keepsake.

Arrive at Pacific Resort Rarotonga for check-in and enjoy the resort facilities for the rest of the day.

  • Tumutoa Umu Walking Tour - available on Monday and Wednesday (From 3pm - 7pm)
    Learn about how Tumutoa’s ancestors once lived during this interactive tour, including traditional skills that many Cook Islanders still practice today. Tumutoa's focus is to share his knowledge passed down to him, which he showcases in a special way through the Umu Walking Discovery Tour.

  • Eco Cycle Discover Tour - available on Monday and Wednesday
    An informative and genuine trip that takes guests on routes through lanes and tracks of the island showing the histories and heritage of this beautiful island nation called Rarotonga. Stories are told of their cultural aspects of this history, including how the connection with the heritage underpins a deeper love and respect of the lands natural environment inherent within the DNA of the Cook Island people.

  • Raro Tours Island Discovery Tour - available on Monday to Friday
    Explore Rarotonga from the comfort of an air-conditioned coach as the experienced local guide takes you on a fascinating 3 hour sightseeing tour, your perfect introduction to the islands rich culture & history. You will visit many points of interest including ancient maraes (sacred sites), local arts & crafts shops, the Library & Museum, the Garden of the 7 Canoes, and many more. Light refreshments will be served at the end of your tour.

  • Captain Tama's Lagoon Cruise - available Monday to Friday
    This is undoubtedly one of the best ways to discover the protected lagoons of Rarotonga. Join the professional crew of Captain Tama's Lagoon Cruises on board one of their glass bottom boats and cruise over the world renown Muri Lagoon to the inner reef area where the variety of tropical marine life is abundant.

  • Pa's Cross Island Trek - available Monday to Friday
    Pa is a Rarotongan born Cook Islander and has become a legend among locals and tourists.  As one of the Cook Islands more colourful characters he will take you on a magical 4 hour tour of the Island, learning about its myths and legends and native herbal lore. The island trek climb is quite steep to start with and becomes easier.

  • Raro's Safari Tour - available Monday to Friday
    Discover the lush tropical interior of the Island. You will visit the green valleys of Avatiu along a paved road that takes you close to the centre of the Island. Along the way, you will see taro plantations. The taro plant is an important food crop throughout the Pacific. You will learn of its history and how it came to the Cook Islands. You will also learn about traditional land laws that govern the use of land and how it is passed on from generation to generation. Includes: Tasty Beach BBQ Fish lunch after 3 hour morning tour.

They look forward to welcoming you, and taking you on a journey back in time to experience what the life of their ancestors was like 600 years ago. This tour includes guided coach transfers, complimentary cocktail, warrior welcome, tour of cultural village, marae tapu lifting ceremony, umu feast and cultural stage show.

    The Cook Islands greeting Kia Orana, “may you live on” reflects the beauty not only of our islands but also of our Cook Islands people. At Te Vara Nui Village you will meet local Cook Island Maori people who will share their stories, knowledge and heritage with you during the Cultural Village Tour. Finish with Rarotonga’s finest dancers and musicians as they perform by flaming torchlight on the floating and fixed stages of our waterfall garden while enjoying our delicious buffet. After your tropical breakfast check out from Pacific Resort and take your private transfer to Rarotonga Airport.

A quick and comfortable forty-five minute flight from Rarotonga takes you to the sublime turquoise waters of one of the world's most beautiful tropical lagoons. 

Arrive at Pacific Resort Aitutaki and check-in. The rest of the day is at your leisure.

The Vaka Cruise includes a substantial barbecue lunch with fresh fish and alcoholic beverages and soft drinks are available for sale. Towels, snorkels, masks and fins provided. Following customer feedback, we do not include international flights in our holiday packages. Many prefer the flexibility to book flights with Frequent Flyer points or travel on specific airlines.
