Arrive in Colmar. Be ready to depart your hotel at 12 pm to visit the charming village of Niedermorschwihr located on the Alsatian wine route. Here you will meet an excellent restaurant owner for lunch. Meet with the pioneer maker of Cremant d’Alsace (local sparkling wine) to learn about its history, followed by a tasting.
In the morning, you will take a guided visit of Haut-Koenigsbourg Castle. Stop for lunch in a traditional cellar in the small village of Katzenthal surrounded by vineyards. This afternoon, take some free time to visit Ribeauville, followed by a visit to a beautiful cellar and tasting of 5 wines.
Today, you will discover the town of Colmar beginning with the Unterlinden Museum. Enjoy lunch in a local restaurant located in Old Colmar. This afternoon, enjoy a Small Venice Boat Tour, followed by some free time to explore the area. Take a cellar visit in the centre of Colmar followed by a tasting of 5 wines.
Enjoy a guided tour of the village of Eguisheim. Enjoy the taste of local speciality Atelier ‘Tartes Flambées’ for lunch. This afternoon, take a guided Segway tour through the vineyards surrounding Eguisheim. Take a cellar visit with tasting of 5 wines with one of our partners based in Eguisheim.
Today, take a guided tour of Strasbourg including a boat trip. Head to the village of Hunawihr just south of Strasbourg for lunch at a local wine growers estate. Take a walking tour of the vineyards, and enjoy a cellar visit and wine tasting. This afternoon, stop at the city of Obernai.
Visit the ‘Maison du Fromage’ (cheese museum). Spend some free time experiencing the museum and demonstration of Munster cheese making. Stop for lunch. Learn how to bake your very own Alsatian Bretzel. This afternoon, head to one of the highlights of this mountain region ‘ferme auberge’ (restaurant in a farm). Take a walk to meet local reindeer followed by a serving of dessert and drink.
Time to say farewell with a gourmet lunch accompanied by wines at the Auberge de l’Ill - the famous 3-Michelin Star restaurant owned for more than 150 years by the Haeberlin-Baumann family.
