Discover France’s renowned wine-making and gastronomic region of Burgundy on this fabulous 6-day walking tour. Soak in the postcard-perfect scenery as you walk past by stonewalled vineyards, medieval villages and ancient woodlands. Your Burgundy walking adventure starts in Dijon, the capital city of the region and known as one of France’s main wine-making regions. It is also famous for its traditional mustard, autumn gastronomic fair and well-preserved architectural style. You can explore the old city, the Ducal Palace, Dijon Cathedral, Notre-Dame of Dijon. From Dijon, you will be transferred to Gevrey Chambertin, one of the wine villages of Cote de Nuits. Follow the GR7 trail and hike to Nuits-Saint-Georges. Walk through the famed Routes des Grand Crus and discover the wine villages of Vougeot, Vosnee Romanee and Chambolle - Musigny. Continue to the Hautes Cotes de Nuits vineyard. From Nuits-Saint-Georges, transfer to the town Arcenant then follow the GR76 trail to Beaune, the wine capital of Burgundy surrounded by the Cote d’Or vineyards. Finish your journey with a visit to the popular wine villages of Savigny-les-Beaune and Pernand-Vergelesses.

Arrival in Dijon and make your own way to your hotel. Remainder of day at your leisure.
Explore Dijon in the early morning and then transfer by taxi at 9:30 am to start hiking to Gevrey-Chambertin.
Pick the GR7 trail and hike to Nuits-Saint-Georges, with its picturesque streets. Tonight, you will overnight in Nuits-Saint-Georges.
Loop hike towards the Hautes Côtes de Nuits vineyards. You will pass the villages of Chaux and Villars Fontaine. Return to Nuits-Saint-Georges.
This morning, a taxi will transfer you to Arcenant. From here, you will hike the GR76 to Beaune, famous for its Hospices. Today's itinerary will take you to the famous wine villages of Savigny-les-Beaune and Pernand Vergelesses.
