The barge "Deborah" cruises the Canal Lateral a la Loire. It has 11 cabins that conveniently accommodate up to 22 passengers. All cabins have a view and include a private bath with shower, TV, radio, cabin-to-cabin telephone, safe and air conditioning. It has extensive on-board amenities such as lounge with bar, restaurant, sun deck and Jacuzzi near the bow of the ship. Aside from stunning features, Deborah also boasts an exciting itinerary taking you to the heart of authentic terroirs and cities full of character and heritage. Discover Nevers, located in the heart of Burgundy, the Briare Aqueduct, one of the most prestigious waterways in France, and the wine and gastronomic cities such as Pouilly-sur-Loire and Sancerre.

Transfer by coach from Paris to join the ship in Briare. You are welcome to board at 6:00 p.m. After comfortably settling into your cabins, you will be introduced to the crew at a welcome cocktail and dinner. Cruise through the Briare Aqueduct, remain in port overnight.
Take a tourist train to discover the village of Briare and its hidden treasures, among them the Chateau de Trousse-Barriere. Traveling along the tree-lined canal, you will also see locks and lock-keeper houses and the quaint bridges that cross the waterways. Visit the Deux Marines Museum and learn about the history of the Loire and its canals which was once considered the most important waterway crossroads in France. Spend the afternoon cruising to Léré. Kick back and enjoy the scenery or borrow one of the bikes and ride along the canal. The evening is free to do as you please.
Set in the historic Berry region, Sancerre overlooks the gorgeous Loire Valley. You'll discover this beautiful medieval city by following the Fil d'Ariane: a red line painted on the streets taking you past the old wine-making neighbourhoods, bakeries, fascinating buildings, and lovely art galleries. Visit a goat farm and have a tasting of its trademark cheeses and the local Sancerre wine. Spend the afternoon cruising towards Ménétréol-sous-Sancerre.
Leave by coach for a visit of Pouilly-sur-Loire, where you will visit the Tour de Pouilly-Fumé: a wine-tourism centre located in a beautiful setting. Visit the vineyards, the wine cellar and enjoy a tasting. Afterwards, return on board and continue towards Chapelle Montlinard. Take advantage of this opportunity to ride along a portion of the EuroVélo 6, the bike route travelling The barge "Deborah" cruises the Canal Lateral a la Loire. Leave by coach for a tour of La Charité-sur-Loire and an authentic farm. Begin your visit with the priory, one of the most important restoration sites in Burgundy for the past 15 years. Then, visit a farm where you will experience the rustic calm and authenticity that can be found only in France. Afterwards, return on board and spend the afternoon cruising. Tonight is your gala evening. Remain in port overnight.
Leave by coach for a visit to the Fontmorigny Abbey, a privately-owned French historical monument. Continue on to visit Apremont-sur-Allier and its floral garden. Classified as one of the most beautiful villages in France, this small medieval jewel on the bank of the Allier is an absolute mustsee. Return on board and cruise to Nevers through the afternoon. At nightfall, leave on a romantic tour of Nevers with lanterns. Remain in port overnight.
Enjoy one last buffet breakfast on board before disembarking around 9:00 a.m. Transfer by coach from Nevers to Paris. End of cruise.
