Stop by Fontaine-de-Vaucluse, where you’ll find the largest spring in France, and travel further to see the ancient Roman aqueduct bridge Pont du Gard. Continue to Les Baux-de-Provence to admire its small village and fascinating castle ruins. You have an option to extend your stay to witness the captivating lavender fields of Provence in full bloom around June and August.

Following breakfast at your hotel, you will explore the historical centre of Avignon on a 3-hour walking tour. Climbing up to the top of the fortified medieval city walls, discover Avignon stretching in all its beauty along the Rhône river. Discover the rich historical past of Avignon with an inside visit of the Pope's Palace, largest Gothic-styled palace in Europe. Walking on the cobbled streets to the Place de l'Horloge, find out about the secret of the painted windows.
Early breakfast at your hotel before discovering what the Provence region is all about. Departure from Avignon to Roussillon, enjoy the market in Roussillon on a Thursday, visit Gordes which is a village erected on the top of a cliff, before driving to Fontaine de Vaucluse, where you will walk up to the cave from which the River Sorgues emerges. Then, continue to the Pont du Gard and visit the best-preserved aqueduct of the Roman period. Afterwards, enjoy some free time to visit the medieval village of Les Baux de Provence before you make your way back to Avignon.
