Enjoy breakfast at your hotel before venturing on a guided walking tour of Sarlat. Follow your guide through the winding streets and stroll through the colourful market stalls as you're introduced to the local delicacies. This afternoon, drive to the beautiful village of Domm, a bastide, or a fortified medieval town. From here, continue onto La Roque Gageac for a cruise along the Dordogne River aboard an authentic Gabarre. Finally, reach Beynac to admire the village and castle.
Today, you will have a full day exploring the History of Cave Paintings. Begin the day in Les Eyzies-de-Tayac-Sireuil for a guided visit of the National Prehistory Museum. Finally, end the tour with a visit to Rouffignac Cave which possesses original and authentic etchings and drawings.
Enjoy a spectacular half day visiting the fortress village of Rocamadour. Follow your guide and visit and discover the renowned Notre Dame Chapel. Return to Sarlat in the afternoon.
