Day 1
Paris – Loire Valley

Depart from central Paris to the Loire Valley via Château Chambord. Check into your château hotel. Enjoy a welcome drink and dinner.

Day 2
Loire Valley

Visit Château Chenonceau. Later explore the charming town of Amboise, with a visit to da Vinci’s residence Château du Clos Lucé.

Day 3
Loire Valley

Visit the Royal Abbey of Fontevraud. Free time to explore Chinon, followed by the gardens of Château Villandry.

Loire Valley – Dordogne
Visit the ‘ghost village’ of Oradour-sur-Glane. Later, depart to Lascaux, famous for its magnificent Palaeolithic cave paintings. Later, check into your hotel in Sarlat.

Explore the medieval village of Sarlat. In the afternoon, visit the village of La Roc Gageac, followed by the village of Domme.

Day 6

This morning visit the town of Rocamadour. In the afternoon, visit the caves of the ‘Gouffre de Padirac’ and experience a 500-metre boat ride inside the caves.

Dordogne - Languedoc
Visit the city of Toulouse with time to explore at leisure. Then enter the land of the Cathars, in the Languedoc-Roussillon region. Check into your hotel in the village of Couiza.

Explore the ramparts of Carcassonne. Mid-afternoon we return to the château hotel to relax. Here you can try your hand at Pétanque (boules).
Day 9
Enjoy a leisurely start to the day followed by a visit to Mirepoix. In the afternoon, visit the Bérenger Saunière Museum and Domain in the hilltop village of Rennes-le-Château.

Day 10
Languedoc – Avignon
Take a scenic drive past the ruined Cathar castles of Puilaurens and Quéribus and on to the outskirts of Béziers. Laterm arrive in the Camargue region and enjoy a visit to Aigues-Mortes. Arrive in Avignon and check into your hotel.

Day 11
This morning visit Nimes. This afternoon, take a visit to walk across the spectacular Pont du Gard. Your evening is free to discover Avignon’s old town.
Day 12
A leisurely morning in Avignon. Mid-afternoon visit the village of Les Baux including entrance to enjoy a stunning audiovisual art show. Continue to the romantic town of St Remy to explore and enjoy a special Provençal dinner in a local restaurant.

Day 13
Avignon – Nice

First stop is the old fishing village of Cassis. From here, enjoy a morning cruise to explore Calanques. Later, continue to Nice, check into your hotel.

Enjoy a morning at leisure to explore Nice. In the afternoon, visit Saint-Jean Cap Ferrat and Villa Ephrussi. Late afternoon, take an excursion to Monaco.

Day 15

First stop is the hill town of Grasse followed by the seaside resort of Cannes. This afternoon, head to the old town of St Paul de Vence. Enjoy a farewell dinner.
