This tour brings you the opportunity to honour those who fought and perished in the pursuit of peace and freedom. Visit important WWI areas in the Somme region, such as Villers–Bretonneux and Albert. From Amiens, travel to Normandy to discover the D-Day Landing beaches and cemeteries. You may also visit Longues-sur-Mer battery or the Port-en-Bessin-Huppain.

Day 1
Amiens

Arrive into Amiens at leisure. Stay overnight at Grand Hotel de l'Univers.

Day 2
Somme Region

Depart your hotel after breakfast for a full day in the Somme Region. Visit the areas of Villers Bretonneux including Albert, Beaumont Hamel’s preserved Trench Park, Villers Bretonneux National Memorial, and the Sir John Monash Centre. Return by late afternoon.

Amiens - Normandy

Enjoy a relaxed breakfast at your hotel before departing for Normandy. Spend the afternoon at Pegasus Bridge.

Day 4
Normandy Region

Following breakfast at your hotel, you will depart for a full-day tour of Normandy region. Visits include historic beach and airborne landings, all of which took place on the 6th June 1944. These areas can include Arromanches-les-Bains, Colleville-sur-Mer, Omaha Beach, Omaha Cemetery and Point D’Hoc.

After breakfast, you will enjoy a morning tour of either Longues-sur-Mer battery or the Port-en-Bessin-Huppain before being dropped off at Bayeux Station at 1:00 PM.
