Get an in-depth look at the heroic acts that took place in the Somme battlefields during the Great War. You're given ample opportunity to honor the bravery and pay your respects to the soldiers who perished in World War 1. You'll get into the historic heart of Somme with a visit to Villers-Bretonneux, including Albert, Beaumont Hamel preserved Trench Park, and Sir John Monash Centre. There's also an opportunity to visit the Franco-Australian Museum depending on the length of time you'll spend at the centre.

Itinerary
Arrive in Amiens at leisure. Stay overnight at Grand Hotel de l'Univers.
Depart your hotel after breakfast for a full day tour in the Somme Region. Visit the areas of Villers Bretonneux, including Albert, Beaumont Hamel’s preserved Trench Park, Villers Bretonneux National Memorial and the Sir John Monash Centre. Return late afternoon.
Enjoy another full day tour of Somme region. Visit Bullecourt and stop at the Slouch Hat Memorial and the Bullecourt Digger at the Australian Memorial Park. You will also have the option to visit either Arras to see the underground tunnels which housed 26,000 New Zealand groups underground during the battle of Arras or visit Peronne and Mont St Quentin. After your full day tour, you will be dropped off at Amiens station by 5:15 pm.
