Visit the sprawling vineyards of Cote de Beaune, Cote de Nuits, the land of Pinot Noir, and Hautes Cotes de Nuits. Explore Clos de Vougeot, a historic wall-enclosed vineyard built by Cisterian monks during the 12th century. Then, enjoy a scenic ride along the Route des Grand Crus.

Day 1

Transfer from Beaune Train Station to hotel. Remainder of day at your leisure.

Day 2
Cote de Beaune – Cote de Nuits

Your English-speaking driver guide will be waiting for you in your hotel lobby in Beaune. Drive to the Côte de Beaune wine area and stop for a breathtaking view over the Corton Grand Cru hillside, a unique site in Burgundy for red and white Grand Cru wines.

You will experience a prestige tasting of 5 to 7 white and red wines, including exceptional Premier Cru or Grand Cru. Then, you will have a second tasting in a Pinot Noir amateur's paradise. Visit the cellars of a boutique winery, housing oak barrels and old vintages.

Take your lunch then enjoy some free time in the historical town of Beaune, Burgundy's wine capital (about 2 hours). Your driver will happily suggest some of the best places for lunch (not included) where you can enjoy local dishes and cheeses.

In the afternoon, drive to the Burgurndy's «ChampsElysées» with its legendary vineyard plots: Romanée Conti, Chambertin, Clos de Vougeot, Echezeaux.

Take a short stroll amongst the vines of the Côte de Nuits.

At 5:30 p.m., your tour ends. Your driver will drop you off in front of Tourism Office in Beaune.

Day 3
Divine Day Tour

Highly personable, your guide will make you discover in a friendly, relaxing and fun way all the secrets of the region. No stone will be leaving unturned. And, no worries, you don’t need to be an expert in wine to enjoy this tour.

Enjoy a scenic drive through the beautiful villages of Côte de Beaune: Pommard, Volnay, and Meursault, and through the Grands crus roads, via Puligny-Montrachet and Chassagne-Montrachet. Sightseeing of the famous Bâtard-Montrachet, Montrachet, Bienvenues-Bâtard-Montrachet and Chevalier Montrachet. Welcome to the spirit of France. While you are in the vineyards, you will be given you a clear and entertaining presentation of the difference between the appellations “Village, 1er Cru and Grand Crus”. Here the Chardonnay is at its best.

Tour and wine tasting in a local domain in Beaune. Discover an estate situated in the heart of Beaune. With the owner, you will taste white wines such as Saint-Aubin, Meursault 1er cru “les Charmes” or the famous Grand cru Corton - Charlemagne.

Lunch at leisure upon your guide's suggestions in Beaune.

Then, enjoy a guided tour of Château du Clos de Vougeot. Founded in 1098 by the monks of the abbey of Cîteaux, the vineyard of the Clos de Vougeot represents more than 50 hectares of vines owned today by more than 80 different owners. Its wine is one of the most famous Grands crus of Burgundy. Today, the castle welcomes the different “chapitres” (dinners) of the Confrérie des Chevaliers du Tastevin (the Brotherhood of the Knights of Tastevin).

After your tour of Clos de Vougeot, visit and enjoy wine tasting at a local domain around Nuits-Saint-Georges. In the heart of the town which gave its name to the Côte de Nuits, you will discover a new estate. Through this tour, you will learn the different techniques of winemaking which give these wines of exception.

Day 4

Breakfast at your hotel and return transfer to the train station of Beaune. End of our services.
