From the famous canals of Venice and gorgeous lakes of northern Italy, to the beautiful churches of Bologna and trendy and high-end boutiques of Milan, Italy has plenty to offer to everyone. After Rome, depart for Assisi, a pilgrimage town located in the Umbria region, the birthplace of St. Francis. Continue to the city of Siena, a city in Tuscany known for its fantastic history centre and Palio, a historic horse race. Head to the enchanting city of Florence, the Cradle of Renaissance, home to countless masterpieces of Renaissance art and architecture. Depart for Bologna, the capital of Emilia-Romagna region. Explore its well-preserved historical centre, churches and porticoes. Bologna is also an ultimate foodie destination. In the afternoon, continue to Padua, the oldest city in northern Italy. Head to Venice, the capital of the Veneto region and considered to be the most beautiful city in the world. Stay overnight then depart for Milan, the capital of fashion and design. From Milan, depart for Lake Orta, a small charming lake located in the Piedmont region. You will also visit the gorgeous lakes of Como and Garda and its neighbouring towns including Bellagio, Bergamo, Brescia and Como. Your last stop is Verona, a bustling city in the Veneto region known for its Roman ruins, cathedrals and museums. It is also known as the city of William Shakespeare’s Romeo and Juliet.
