The journey starts in Milan and then to the gorgeous town of Verona, where you will get a chance to visit Juliet’s balcony, the Arena and other iconic landmarks. Move on to Cortina d’Ampezzo, following some parts of the Dolomites mountain range, and then to the gorgeous Lake Misurina, cradled between a forest and the Three Peaks of Lavaredo, distinctive battlement-like peaks in the Sexten Dolomites. 

In South Tyrol, admire Lake Braeis, known as the “Pearl among the Dolomite lakes” and one of the deepest lakes in the region, and continue to Val Pusteria and Val Badia, the most traditional valleys of the area. Track the Dolomites Pass to Merano, an Alpine town known for art nouveau structures, and stop by Lake Carezza to witness its surreal beauty. Travel to Burano and Trento for sightings of Renaissance and Gothic works of architecture. Return to Milan to finish the amazing journey.

Day 1
Milan – Verona – Canazei – Cortina D'ampezzo

Drive to Verona. Peer up at Juliet’s balcony and visit Piazza delle Erbe, city hall, the tribunal and the Arena Colosseum. After lunch, continue to Cortina d’Ampezzo, travelling through parts of the Dolomites mountain range.

Day 2
Cortina – Lake Misurina – Lake Braies – Val Pusteria and Val Badia – Cortina

After breakfast, set off for Lake Misurina, situated perfectly between a forest and the Three Peaks of Lavaredo. Next, make your way to Lake Braies, one of the deepest lakes in the region and visit Val Pusteria and Val Badia, the most traditional valleys of the region.

Cortina – Lake Carezza – Merano Bolzano

Travel via the Dolomite Pass, situated in the basin surrounding Cortina, to Merano with a viewing stop at Lake Carezza. This afternoon, explore Bolzano and visit the Duomo, a Gothic style cathedral, and the main streets of this medieval town.

Day 4
Bolzano – Trento – Milan

Continue to Trento, the capital of the region. The city is dominated by the castle, known as del Buon Consiglio. Santa Maria Maggiore, built in the 16th century, is one of the first works of the Renaissance and gothic age. Return to Milan.
