Day 1

Arrive and make your own way to the hotel. Welcome cocktail and dinner.

Day 2
Palermo – Cefalu – Catania

Travel to the coastal town of Cefalu, home to a breathtaking Norman Cathedral with dazzling mosaics. Proceed to Catania, known for its original Baroque style and streets built with black lava stone from Mount Etna, and enjoy a walking tour.

Day 3
Catania – Mount Etna – Taormina – Catania

Weather permitting, enjoy an excursion to Mount Etna, the highest active volcano in Europe, for spectacular panorama over the Ionian Sea. Stop at the village of Zafferana Etnea, the city of honey, for a honey tasting. Continue to Taormina, the pearl of the Ionian Sea, for some leisure time.

Day 4
Catania – Siracusa – Noto – Ragusa

After breakfast, depart to Siracusa to visit the most beautiful Greek colony of Sicily. Discover the archaeological park “Neapolis”, including the famous Latomie of the Paradise, the Greek Theatre and the Dyonisios “Ear”. You will then continue on to the island of Ortigia and visit the small Baroque old city centre of Siracusa. Entering Ortigia food market and stop in a Sicilian street food delicatessen vintage shop for an unforgettable light lunch. In the afternoon, proceed to Noto, one of the most beautiful cities in Sicily renowned for its Baroque style. After your visit, proceed to Ragusa for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 5
Ragusa – Modica - Agrigento

Today, your first stop is the the ancient city Ragusa "Ibla", the cradle of Sicilian Baroque, with its cathedral, situated in the beautiful square of the Dome and the “giardino Ibleo” before we continue on to Modica. The city is divided into two parts: Modica “Bassa” and “Alta”. Modica is also a UNESCO site and is famous for its Baroque churches and scenographic squares and the famous chocolate (Xocoatl). Enjoy lunch in a local restaurant before you continue to Agrigento in the afternoon. You will visit the magnificent Valley Of Temples of Agrigento, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Explore the Temple of Concord, which is in almost perfectly preserved conditions featuring Juno and Heracles that represent the most beautiful example of the Greek civilization in Sicily.

Day 6
Agrigento – Selinunte – Marsala - Palermo

This morning, travel to the Archaeological Park of Selinunte, the largest in the Mediterranean area with the impressive Temples and Acropolis. Stop in a local farmhouse famous for olive oil production where, before lunch, it will be possible to have an oil tasting of local production. Continue to Marsala, a city on the western coast famous for its production of sweet Sicilian wine. Visit of the historical centre and stop to a prestigious winery, where you can enjoy a wine tasting and learn about local production. Proceed to Palermo for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 7
Palermo – Monreale – Palermo

Depart for Monreale to admire the cathedral with its mosaics. Continue with a panoramic tour of Palermo, one of the richest towns on the island for history and art. This afternoon is at leisure or take an optional excursion (extra cost) to Monte Pellegrino, the most famous mountain in Palermo, and explore Palermo’s most colourful market.

After buffet breakfast, check out of the hotel and end of the tour.
