Discover the best of the Andalusia region and Morocco during this enthralling, 12-day escorted tour. Your adventure starts in the vibrant city of Madrid. From Madrid, head to Cordoba, a city in the Andalusia region known for its Moorish architecture including the beautiful Great Mosque of Cordoba. Continue to Seville, the capital of Andalusia, also known for its Moorish architectural landmarks and flamenco. From Seville, head to the mountaintop city of Ronda, located in the Malaga province, then continue to Costa del Sol until you reach the town of Tarifa. From Tarifa, board the ferry crossing the Strait of Gibraltar. Travel to Fez by bus where you will stay overnight. Explore Fez, the oldest of Morocco’s imperial cities. Then, journey to Rabat, the charming capital city of Morocco. Explore the city’s popular landmarks including the exterior of the Royal Palace, the Hassan Tower and the Mausoleum of Mohamed V. Travel to Marrakech, a former imperial city and home to numerous mosques, palace, gardens and souks (marketplaces). From Marrakech, continue to Casablanca, the largest city of Morocco. Depart for Tangier then transfer to a ferry bound from Tarifa. Then, continue to Costal del Sol. Cap off your adventure with stops in the beautiful cities of Granada, known for the impressive Alhambra and Toledo, known as “City of Three Cultures”.

This tour is available every Thursday from 1 April to 31 October. Additonal departure dates include 5 & 12 November; 24 & 31 December 2020 and 18 & 25 March 2021.

Day 1
Madrid - Cordoba - Seville

This morning you, will depart Madrid stopping briefly in Puerto Lapice. Then, travel to Cordoba. Upon arrival, you will have a tour of the impressive Mosque and other sites in the city. In the afternoon, you will arrive into Seville where we will have dinner and stay overnight.

Seville

Following breakfast at the hotel, you will join a panoramic city tour seeing the exterior of the Cathedral, Santa Cruz quarter, Maria Luisa Park and Plaza de España. Enjoy the afternoon at leisure before dinner. Tonight, there is an opportunity for an optional Flamenco tour (extra cost).

Seville - Ronda - Costa del Sol

After breakfast at the hotel, drive south to Ronda. You will have some free time to admire this town, the valley and surrounding mountain range. In the afternoon, continue to the Costa del Sol. Dinner and accommodation at the hotel.

Day 4
Costa del Sol - Fez

Enjoy breakfast at the hotel then drive along the picturesque tourist route of Costa del Sol to Tarifa where you'll board a ferry for a short crossing of the strait of Gibraltar towards Morocco. Upon arrival, you will continue by bus via Larache to Fez. Tonight, you will enjoy dinner at your hotel.

Fez

This morning, enjoy a morning city tour of the most ancient and monumental of the Imperial Cities, visiting the 7 gates of the Royal Palace, Jewish Quarters or Mellah, gate of Bab Bou Jelous and a walking tour of the “Medina” (Old City) which has been declared a World Heritage Site. After the tour, your afternoon is free. Dinner and accommodation at hotel. Optional dinner with show.

Fez - Rabat - Marrakesh

Following breakfast, depart towards Rabat, diplomatic and administrative capital of Morocco. Visit the exterior of the Royal Palace, the Mausoleum of Mohamed V and the Hassan Tower. Then, continue to Marrakech where you will stay overnight and enjoy dinner at the hotel.

Marrakesh

Enjoy breakfast at the hotel before joining a city sightseeing tour visiting the Koutoubia Tower, twin tower of the Giralda in Seville, Saadines Tombs and Bay Palace. In the afternoon, walk around the medina, souks and the magic Jma El Fna Square, which is packed with fortune tellers, snake tamers, acrobats, dancers, all making the centre of the city an open-air theatre that requires the participation of the audience. Dinner and accommodation at hotel. Tonight, there is also an optional dinner with show at “Fantasia Chez Ali” (extra cost).

Marrakesh - Casablanca

This morning, depart to Casablanca, a cosmopolitan, industrial and economic heart of Morocco. Upon arrival. join a panoramic tour of the largest city in Morocco visiting the most interesting places such as the exteriors of the Great Mosque of Hassan II, Boulevard de la Corniche, United Nations Square, Habbous neighborhood and Anfa residential neighborhood.

Casablanca - Tangier - Tarifa - Costa del Sol

After breakfast, depart to Tangier. Arrival in Tangier and transfer to the port for you ferry departure to Tarifa. Upon arrival, you will be transferred to your hotel in Costa del Sol.

Costa del Sol - Granada

This morning, depart towards the city of Granada. Visit the world-famous Alhambra complex and Generalife Gardens. Tonight, there is an option to join a Gipsy Flamenco show at Sacromonte quarter (extra cost).

Granada - Toledo - Madrid

Today, drive northward to the impressive Imperial city of Toledo. You will have a short, guided tour of this historical old town we then have a visit of a famous “Damasquinado” (gold and silver inlaying in iron) factory. Following your visit of the Damasquinado, continue to Madrid where the tour ends.
