Day 1

Meet and assistance at the airport. Transfer to the hotel. Balance of the day at leisure.

Day 2

Enjoy a morning Madrid panoramic city tour. Find the medieval origins of the city, like the Arabic fortress at the Barrio de la Morería, famous for its historical buildings. Drive through the courtesan district of the Hapsburgs and admire the XIX century works such as Prado Museum. Explore contemporary Madrid, as well as the commercial and financial areas of Modern Madrid and the Santiago Bernabéu Football Stadium. The afternoon is free to continue exploring all the city has to offer.

Day 3
Madrid - Cordoba - Seville

After breakfast at your hotel, you will transfer to the meeting point to join your tour. Departing Madrid, you will drive along La Mancha, Don Quixote’s land, stopping briefly in Puerto Lapice before crossing in Andalusia to reach Cordoba. Here, you will join an impressive tour of its Mosque (entrance included) and other sites within the city. In the afternoon, after a short 2-hour drive, you will reach Seville. Dinner and accommodation at the hotel.

Day 4

Following breakfast at the hotel, you'll join a panoramic city tour visiting the exterior of the Cathedral, Santa Cruz quarter, Maria Luisa Park and Plaza de España. Spend the afternoon at leisure before your dinner at the hotel. Tonight, there is an optional Flamenco Tour (extra cost).

Day 5
Seville - Granada

Enjoy breakfast at the hotel before you depart and drive east past an endless landscape of olive trees to Granada. Visit the world famous Alhambra complex (entrance included) and Generalife Gardens that have inspired several authors with its sounds and sights, such as the “Tales of the Alhambra” by W. Irving. Dinner and accommodation at the hotel. Optional Gipsy Flamenco show at the Sacromonte quarter (extra cost).

Day 6
Granada - Valencia

After breakfast at the hotel, drive to the Mediterranean coast via Murcia and Alicante before reaching Valencia. Enjoy an evening at leisure in the city that is also the home of the delicious rice dish “Paella.”

Day 7
Valencia - Barcelona

After a relaxed breakfast at the hotel, enjoy a city tour of Valencia. Drive through the old city viewing the most prominent buildings. You will then be driven past the old riverbed of the Turia to the most avant-garde complex “Ciudad de las Artes y las Ciencias” to watch the emblematic exteriors of the six buildings. Leave Valencia in the early afternoon heading northward along the Mediterranean coast to Barcelona via Tarragona. Barcelona is the principal Mediterranean city homeland of the famous architect Gaudí who symbolised Catalonian modernism.

Day 8
Barcelona - Civitavecchia (Overnight Ferry)

This morning, you will have breakfast at the hotel then depart on a morning city tour of Barcelona. Drive along the main avenues with impressive modernist buildings by Gaudí such as La Pedrera and Casa Milá, both declared World Heritage buildings. Visit the Montjuïc Park with spectacular views of the city and harbor, Olympic Ring, monument to Columbus and the Olympic Port. You have the afternoon free to explore on your own and to savor the typical gastronomy until your transfer pickup from the hotel to the port to board the ferry towards Civitavecchia. Departure at 23.59h and night on board.

Day 9
Civitavecchia - Rome

Breakfast and lunch on-board the Ferry. During the time of your journey, you can enjoy the variety of services offered by these latest generation of Ferries. Arrival at Civitavecchia at 8pm. Disembark and transfer to Rome.

Note: The estimated time of arrival in Rome is at 10 pm.

Day 10
Rome - Assisi - Siena - Florence

Following breakfast, depart Rome and travel north towards Assisi. You will have time at your own leisure in this tiny town. Take your time to visit the basilica of St. Francis, where you will see masterpieces by Giotto and Cimabue. Board the bus to reach Siena, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, known for the Palio, the historical horse race around the shell-shaped town square, Piazza del Campo. Next, you will continue to Florence where you will check in at your hotel before enjoying dinner.

Day 11

After breakfast at the hotel, you will enjoy a guided tour of the city. You will be fascinated by the uncountable monuments, churches and buildings such as the Santa Maria del Fiore, more commonly referred to as the Duomo. Lunch will be in a typical Tuscan restaurant in Piazza Santa Croce. Spend the afternoon strolling the cobblestone streets of Florence on your own.

Day 12
Florence - Bologna - Padua - Venice

Breakfast at the hotel before departing to Bologna. There, you will discover the elegant city centre with its “porticos” and its shopping streets. In the afternoon, continue towards Padova where you will have a short stop to see the Sant’Antonio Basilica, one of the most visited churches by pilgrims of the catholic world. Later in the afternoon, you will arrive in Venice. Check in to your hotel for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 13

After breakfast at the hotel, take a private water-taxi transfer to Piazza San Marco. With your “Skip the Line” tickets, visit the splendid St. Mark’s Basilica. Afterwards, discover the most iconic places of the “Floating City”, roaming along Venice’s canals at your leisure. Return to the hotel for dinner.

Day 14
Venice - Montepulciano (Tuscany wine region) - Rome

After breakfast, depart from Venice heading to Tuscany stopping in Montepulciano, a medieval town rich in history and art and known for its “Nobile” wine. Enjoy a traditional Tuscan lunch in a typical restaurant then spend the afternoon discovering Montepulciano at your own pace. Depart in the afternoon to arrive in Rome in the evening.

Day 15

After breakfast at the hotel, you will join a tour of the Vatican Museums, Sistine Chapel and St. Peter’s Basilica with your exclusive “Skip the Line” access! Your guide will lead you to the museums where you’ll visit one of the most important art collections of the world. Walk along the beautiful Galleries of Tapestries and Geographical Maps before admiring Raphael’s Rooms and, then, the amazing Sistine Chapel. After this incredible masterpiece, you will be taken by a privileged door to St. Peter’s Basilica: the biggest church in the world! The tour ends on St. Peter’s Square. Enjoy the rest of the day to explore the city at your own leisure.

Day 16

Breakfast at the hotel and transfer to the airport. End of tour.
