Walk over old bridges, ramble around verdant countryside, and pass through shaded woodland paths and fields as you take on the last 100 km of the Camino way, from Sarria to Santiago. This sociable route is the most popular walk of the Camino Frances (French Way), rewarding pilgrims with unforgettable rural experience, unique discoveries, and the coveted Camino Certificate (Compostela) after their soulful journey. Classified as moderate to challenging, this walk has varied terrain with regular ascents and descents so a reasonable level of fitness is required. Guests will also be staying in a mix of 1-4 star hotels, guest houses, pensions and hostel rooms with private facilities due to the limited number of accommodation options available in the area.

Today, you will arrive in Sarria and make your own way to you hotel. The remainder of the day is at leisure.
After breakfast at the hotel, you'll depart Sarria walking along rural roads or corredoiras (tracks) through oak groves and small hamlets such as Lavandeira and Ferreiros. When you are almost at Portomarín, you'll cross the bridge of the River Miño. The remains of the old town of Portomarín are under the waters of the nearby reservoir. (22 km)
Today, you'll first climb up to Castromaior and then walk to the Sierra de Ligonde, before descending gradually through the hamlets of Eirexe and Ligonde, en route to the town of Palas de Rei. (24 km)
Following breakfast, you'll depart Palas de Rei walking along beautiful rural roads and over medieval bridges to Melide, and then continue through agricultural landscapes to Arzúa, which you'll reach after crossing the beautiful River Iso. (29 km)
Today, you will walk over green hills with amazing mountain vista until you reach Rúa. You will pass shrines along the way such as the one near Santa Irene. (19 km)
Following breakfast, you will depart Rua and begin your walk to Santiago. After bypassing Pedrouzo, you'll climb through Amenal and then descend down to Lavacolla, and then climb again to the Monte do Gozo. From here, you'll have your first view of the Cathedral's towers of Santiago. You're now just 4 km from Compostela, which you'll reach through the beautiful streets of the old town. (21 km)
