Start your journey in the bustling city of Barcelona, the capital of the Catalonia region known for the architectural works of Antonia including the Sagrada Familia, Park Guell, and Casa Batllo. Learn the secrets of Spanish cuisine with a private cooking class and visit local Catalan food producers. From Barcelona, travel to Zaragoza until you reach the wine region of Rioja. In Rioja, visit a centennial winery, sample local wines and traditional pintxos and visit Marques de Riscal. Continue to Pamplona, the capital city of Navarre known worldwide for the running of the bulls during the San Fermina festival. Your next stops are the intriguing cities of San Sebastian and Bilbao. From Bilbao, make way to the scenic Bay of Plentzia and visit the first underwater in the world and sample their underwater wines. Continue to Castro Urdiales, an attractive seaport town located on the Bay of Biscay. Your next stops are the towns of Covadonga, Ribadesella and Ribadeo. Then, head to Santiago de Compostela, the famous pilgrimage town and the capital of the Galicia region. From Santiago de Compostela, travel to Porto, Portugal’s second largest city. Experience a panoramic cruise along the Douro River and enjoy Port wine tasting. Finish your Iberian journey with a tour of Libson, one of the oldest cities in the world.

Day 1

Barcelona

Meet and greet at the airport and transfer to your hotel. Dinner is at leisure.

Day 2

Barcelona

Stroll Barcelona´s Gothic Quarter's cobble streets with a local expert. Meet with a local chef at the market to discover the secrets of Spanish ingredients. Stop by the kitchen to leave the ingredients, which you´ll use to cook your own dinner this evening. Welcome dinner will be served after the cooking master class.

Barcelona

A day to discover Catalan local producers. Explore the flavours of Catalan cuisine through wine cellars, artisan food producers, fishermen and renowned local chefs. Rest of the day is at leisure in Barcelona.

Barcelona - Zaragoza - Rioja

Depart today bound for Rioja, capital of Spain wine making. Stop in Zaragoza and visit Ancient Roman ruins, the first Marian church in Christendom, and fabulous art Museums. Continue to Rioja. Enjoy a dégustation dinner at your hotel with pairing wines.

Rioja

Today, discover the wine region of Rioja. Visit one of the most beautiful towns of Rioja, La Guardia, where you´ll stop to taste a traditional pintxo. Continue to Bodegas Bilbainas, a centennial winery with historical buildings and boasting 3,000 m of underground cellars. Taste their varieties followed by a BBQ lunch amongst their vineyards. In the afternoon, you´ll visit one of Rioja´s wine Temples, Marques de Riscal.

Rioja - Pamplona - Rioja

Visit the old town of Pamplona on a historical walk. Stroll through Saint James Way, San Fermines’ paths and finish at a traditional market for a cheese and pacharan tasting experience.

Rioja - San Sebastian - Bilbao

Today,discover San Sebastian. Stroll the old town of Donisti. Discover and taste the sophisticated Pintxos in Casco Antiguo. Free time in Bilbao on arrival.

Bilbao - Plentzia Bay - Castro Urdiales - Picos de Europa

Visit first underwater winery in the world with over 8 years research in underwater wines. The results at Bahia Plentzia are limited-edition underwater wines of extraordinary quality. Take a boat trip to discover where the winery is located while tasting their wines. Stop in the old fishermen village of Castro Urdiales for a slow pace walk. Dinner will be at Paradores Cangas de Onis, your accommodation for the next 2 nights.

Covadonga - Rivadesella

Visit Monasterio de Covadonga, where history, spirituality and nature become a universal symbol. After some quality time at leisure, continue to Ribadesella. Dinner will be served at your Paradores this evening.

Picos de Europa - Ribadeo - Santiago de Compostrela

Say farewell Picos de Europa and continue through the Northern Spanish coast. Stop in Ribadeo and visit the impressive Playa de las Catedrales and the Porcillán's marina. Arrive to Paradores de Santiago, our home for the next 2 nights. Enjoy a welcome dinner at the Paradores.

Santiago de Compostela

Today, explore Santiago de Compostela. Some 300,000 Camino pilgrims venture here each year, giving Santiago a greater international dimension than ever. Dinner at Paradores after an afternoon at leisure.

Santiago de Compostela - Vigo - Porto

Say farewell Santiago bound for Porto in Portugal. Stop in Vigo and visit Castro Fortress. Lunch will be at a local restaurant to taste Galician outstanding seafood. Arrive in Porto in the late afternoon.

Porto

Today, visit the heritage town of Porto, best European destination in 2017. Afternoon is at leisure for you to enjoy its cobble streets.

Porto - Tomar - Lisbon

Bound Portuguese capital, Lisbon, we will stop at Tomar and visit its aqueduct, Castello and Old Town then continue to Lisbon, Tonight is your farewell dinner which you will ill enjoy at a local restaurant.
