Enjoy a culture-packed, 21-day itinerary covering the medieval and exotic wonders of Madrid, Portugal, Andalusia, and Morocco. Set foot in the historic centre of Madrid, then drive to Avila and Salamanca before crossing the Portuguese border reaching Porto. Embark on a scenic cruise on the glistening Douro river before departing to Fatima to discover the World Pilgrimage Sanctuary. You'll continue your quest, exploring the culture of Lisbon, Caceres, and Cordoba before arriving in Seville where you'll wander around its historic centre dominated by the colossal cathedral. You'll stop in Ronda on your way to Costa del Sol where you'll have free time to discover its beaches and the surrounding areas. From the coastal area a ferry boat shall take you to Tangier, a Moroccan port on the Strait of Gibraltar. Your Moroccan visit includes Casablanca, Marrakech, Meknes and Fez. Meet  at the airport,  then  transfer to the hotel.

Breakfast at the hotel. This morning, enjoy a panoramic city tour of Madrid. Drive through the courtesan district of the Hapsburgs, the Madrid of the Bourbons and the Royal Palace, Cibeles and Neptuno Fountains. Discover contemporary Madrid with areas such as Gran Vía, Castellana, the district of Salamanca, Plaza Castilla and Parque del Oeste, as well as commercial and financial areas of Modern Madrid. You're free in the afternoon to continue exploring the city.

Madrid – Avila – Salamanca - Porto

Today, you will  travel  to Avila - a city that preserves its medieval wall. Take a short stop to see the city then you're off to Salamanca. Spend some free time in this city before you  depart to the Portuguese border and onto Porto.

Porto

Enjoy a panoramic sightseeing tour of Porto. You will admire the Cathedral, Stock Exchange building and Santa Clara church.

Porto – Coimbra – Fatima

Have your breakfast at the hotel then  depart to Coimbra. You'll have free time in this city then you're off to Fatima. Fatima is one of the main centres of Christian Faith and a World Pilgrimage Sanctuary. At night, there's a possibility you will be able to attend the procession of the candles.

Fatima – Batalha - Nazare – Alcobaça - Lisbon

This morning, you will visit the Batalha Monastery then continue to the picturesque fishing town of Nazaré. Enjoy your free time in this town and continue to Alcobaça (World Heritage site) to visit the XII century church. Afterwards, you're off to Lisbon. Optional night tour to attend a show of Fado, a typical Portuguese song and music (extra cost).

Enjoy a morning sightseeing tour of the ancient Olissipo and drive through its main squares and avenues. The afternoon will be at leisure.

This morning, you will depart early and travel to Caceres. Walk through its Plaza Mayor and the Old Town with its famous Medieval Quarter. Afterwards, continue towards Cordoba, once the capital of the Caliphate. Dinner at the hotel.

Cordoba - Seville

Breakfast at the hotel. Go on an impressive tour of Cordoba's Mosque and other sites of the Jewish Quarter. In the afternoon, after a short 2-hour ride, you'll reach Seville. Dinner at the hotel.

After breakfast at the hotel, you'll drive south passing typical villages until you reach Ronda. Enjoy some free time. In the afternoon, continue to Costa del Sol. Dinner at the hotel.

Breakfast, dinner and accommodation at the hotel. Day at leisure for you to enjoy the wonderful beaches of Costa del Sol and the surrounding areas.

Costa del Sol – Tarifa – Tangier – Rabat – Casablanca

After breakfast at the hotel, drive along the picturesque tourist route of Costa del Sol. Arrive in Tarifa where a ferry boat will be used for a short and interesting crossing of the strait of Gibraltar towards Africa. Arrive in Tangier, disembark, clear customs and drive southwards via Larache to Rabat. You'll go on a city tour visiting the important sights such as the Royal Palace from outside, Mohamed V Mausoleum, and the unfinished Hassan Tower. Afterwards, you'll depart to Casablanca. Dinner at the hotel.

Casablanca - Marrakech

This morning, you will go on a panoramic city tour through the most interesting sections of the city. You'll then depart towards Marrakech. You'll go on a city sightseeing tour, discovering major sites including the Koutoubia Tower, twin tower of the Giralda in Seville, Saadines Tombs and Bay Palace. You'll walk around the medina, souks and the magical Jma El Fna Square, which is packed with fortune tellers, snake charmers, acrobats, and dancers. Don’t forget your camera. Dinner at hotel. Marrakech – Meknes – Fez

After breakfast, you'll head northeast to Meknes, an old walled imperial city. You'll go on a panoramic tour admiring the great Bab Al Mansour Gate, Morocco’s most beautiful Gate and the most well-known monument in town. Afterwards, you'll depart to Fez. Dinner at the hotel.

Breakfast at the hotel. Enjoy a morning city tour of the most ancient and monumental of the Imperial Cities. You'll visit the most interesting points: the 7 gates of the Royal Palace, Jewish Quarters or Mellah and gate of Bab Bou Jelous. You'll have a walking tour of the “Medina” (Old City), declared World Heritage Site. Enjoy some free time in the afternoon to discover the site. Dinner at hotel. Fez – Tangier – Tarifa – Costa del Sol

After breakfast at the hotel, you'll depart to Tangier. Transfer to the pier to board the ferry to return across the strait of Gibraltar back to Spain. Drive towards Costa del Sol. Dinner at the hotel.

Breakfast, dinner and at the hotel. Day at leisure for you to enjoy the beaches of Costa del Sol.

After breakfast at the hotel, depart towards the city of Granada. Visit the world famous Alhambra complex and Generalife Gardens that have inspired several authors with its sound and sights, such as the “Tales of the Alhambra” by W. Irving. Afternoon at leisure. Breakfast at the hotel. Drive northward to the impressive Imperial city of Toledo –World Heritage City. Take a short guided tour of this historical city through its narrow streets.
