Join an exciting trip to Mount Pilatus, which starts with a cruise to Alpnachstad. Travel to Pilatus Kulm via the world’s steepest cogwheel railway and once you reach the summit, get to witness overwhelming mountain views. Continue your journey to Interlaken by the spectacular Golden Pass train following the scenic Brünig Pass route. As you make your way to Bernese Oberland, catch mesmerising views of the countryside, snow-capped mountains, picturesque villages and the famous Reichenbach Falls. Reach Interlaken and after exploring the resort town, embark to Jungfraujoch, also known as the Top of Europe. Journey to the summit through Europe’s highest altitude railway and get ready for more astounding mountain panoramas 3466 metres above sea level.

Day 1
Zürich - Lucerne

Arrive in Switzerland and take the train from Zürich airport to Lucerne. Upon your arrival to Lucerne, make your way to your hotel and enjoy the remainder of the day at leisure.

Situated on Lake Lucerne and surrounded by an impressive mountain panorama, the city of Lucerne is ideal for exploring on foot thanks to its attractions, its souvenirs and watch shops. Highlights of the city include the fully restored Chapel Bridge – one of Europe’s oldest wooden bridges and landmark of Lucerne – and Lake Lucerne itself, with fantastic views from the shoreline of the vintage paddlewheel steamers crossing the water.

Day 2
Mount Pilatus

After breakfast at your hotel, walk to the boat landing quay where you will begin your journey to Mt Pilatus. The excursion to Mt. Pilatus is simply an exceptional experience. It starts with a short lake cruise to Alpnachstad, followed by a ride on the world's steepest cogwheel railway up to Pilatus Kulm (2132 m). Journey time is approx. 2 and a half hour each way. Return by gondola and bus via Kriens. During the winter months, the journey is available by bus and gondola, via Kriens.

Day 3
Lucerne - Interlaken (Golden Pass Train)

Following breakfast, you will check out of your hotel and take a leisurely walk to the train station. Today, you travel on the route of the Golden Pass over the Brünig Pass. The route follows the banks of Lake Lucerne, climbing up past the picturesque villages and numerous lakes to the Brünig Pass. Winding through the countryside below snow-covered peaks, you will pass Meiringen with the famous Reichenbach Falls, before descending to the banks of the beautiful Lake Brienz and arriving in Interlaken. Upon arrival, make your way to the hotel and enjoy the rest of the day at leisure.

Day 4
The Jungfraujoch

Following breakfast at your hotel, take a short stroll to the train station for your excursion to the Jungfraujoch. The Jungfraujoch, at 3454 metres, is known as the Top of Europe and is home to Europe’s highest altitude railway station. A highlight of every visit to Switzerland, the journey to the summit is on the Jungfrau Railway, an engineering masterpiece. The last section has been built inside the mountain itself and the view through the panorama windows are a thrilling experience.

Enjoy a relaxed breakfast at your hotel before you check out and make your way to Zürich airport for your onward journey.
