Discover the UNESCO-Old Town of Bern with its most famous attractions and have a look at the little shops and cafes under the medieval arcades which provide year round sheltered sightseeing.
Today, you’ll enjoy a full day excursion to the Emmental Valley. The Emmental is one of Switzerland’s most authentic areas with big farmhouses and storybook scenery. It is especially famous for the Emmental cheese that originates from this region. In the morning, you take the train from Bern to Hasle-Rüegsau, where a bus will be waiting to take you directly to the Emmental Show Dairy. The Emmental Show Dairy gives you an insight into 4 generations of cheese production. Discover how this traditional trade has changed over time and learn how the Swiss put holes in the cheese.
Tour ends after breakfast at your hotel.
