Start your Bern holiday with a guided walking tour of the city including the historic old town, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, laced with Gothic cathedrals, historic buildings, cafes and a large collection of Renaissance fountains. Your tour includes the famous Zytglogge Tower. Finish your holiday with a visit of a Kambly biscuit factory in Trubschachen. Kambly is Switzerland’s most popular biscuit brand with a history of more than 100 years.

This morning, you will explore the charming capital of Switzerland, with its unique blend of traditional architecture and contemporary events on a relaxed walking tour. Discover the UNESCO-Old Town of Bern with its most famous attractions. This afternoon, join a tour of the famous Zytglogge Tower (clock tower). On the hour, many people gather in front of the ancient tower to watch the clock mechanism from the 16th century perform its unique spectacle. You will experience the event up close, inside the Clock Tower.
Breakfast at your hotel. Discover the art of fine biscuit making with a day out to the Kambly biscuit factory near Bern. This unguided excursion takes you in 40 minutes by train to Trubschachen where you can visit the factory shop, the Kambly Café and attend the demonstration confectionary. In the evening, stroll through the medieval centre for dinner in one of the traditional cellars where the charm of the past blends perfectly with stylish interior decorating; an impressive restaurant with vaulted ceilings. A three-course meal with choice will be accompanied with wine. Dine like a local and try specialities such as ‘Suure Mocke’ – a traditional marinated beef dish. Overnight at your hotel in Bern.
