Day 1 Paris
Welcome to the capital of France. Upon arrival, meet your driver at the airport or train station and transfer to your hotel.
Today, you will experience a unique sightseeing tour in a legendary Citroen 2CV Vintage car exploring the most charming streets and little secrets of Paris.
In the evening, enjoy a visit to the 2nd floor of the Eiffel Tower with Skip the line priority access. ***
Start by meeting your assistant at the indicated meeting point to get your skip-the-line ticket. They will show you where the entrance area for skip the line access is and later on they will take you all the way up to the second floor of this beautiful building where you’ll be stood at a staggeringly 300m above the ground. You will climb up to the second floor where you get to see Paris from a birds-eye view. From way up high, you can check out almost everything such as The famous Notre Dame Cathedral, The Louvre, The Sacred Heart Basilica, The Arc de Triomphe plus you’ll admire all of the little streets and historic bridges that make Paris so unique.

Giverny is a small French village 80 km to the north-west of the capital city, within the valley of the Seine River and the northern region of Upper Normandy. The village is best known as the rural retreat of the Impressionist painter Claude Monet. Claude Monet lived at Giverny for 43 years, from 1883 to 1926.

Day 4: Somme 1916 and Bullecourt 1917 Day Tour from Paris
Catch an early train to Longueau, Amiens or Arras. Meet your guide and start your tour.
isit the Interpretative Centre at Thiepval to set the scene for the tour and the Memorial to the British missing which contains just under 73,000 names of soldiers never identified In the vicinity are the preserved original trenches at Beaumont Hamel and the Memorial to the 36th Ulster Division. We will visit the Australian 1st Division Memorial at Pozieres and the site of the Gibraltar pillbox fortification. Then visit the Pozieres military cemetery where many Australian soldiers are buried from the fight for Pozieres, their first major engagement in France. On the German second line of defence we will visit the famous Windmill site, the highest part of the Somme battlefield, where a memorial stands honouring the 23,000 fallen Australians. Close by is the grave of Private Russ Bosisto from Adelaide who was found 80 years after the battle. Close to Albert is the impressive Lochnagar mine crater and the German cemetery at Fricourt where the Red Baron was buried before being repatriated back to Germany in the early 1920's.

Head over to the Hindenburg Line towards Bullecourt visiting the museum which was passionately put together by the former mayor of Bullecourt, Mr Jean Le Tighe, who was awarded the Order of Australia along with his wife Denise. There are several memorials close by, the unique Slouch Hat memorial, the Bullecourt Digger and the memorial to the missing of those lost at Bullecourt in 1917. From here you will see where the Hindenburg Line was positioned facing the Allied trenches.
Return to the train station and return to Paris (late evening).
