Day 1 Airport Bacolod

Upon arrival in Manila, take your connecting flight to Bacolod, known as the “City of Smiles,” celebrated for its warm hospitality, vibrant MassKara Festival, and delicious local cuisine, including the famous chicken inasal. Upon arrival in Bacolod, transfer to your hotel for check-in and an overnight stay.

Day 2 Bacolod

After breakfast, embark on a Bacolod City Tour or enjoy a relaxing Lakawon Island Day Tour. Be welcomed by the warm smiles that Bacolod is famous for, home to the colourful MassKara Festival and the joyful spirit that earned it the title “City of Smiles.” Explore Bacolod’s top attractions, including San Sebastian Cathedral, Bacolod Plaza, Lagoon, Negros Forest Park, and the stunning Ruins. Enjoy a delicious chicken inasal lunch at Manokan Country, and stop by local favourites like Bongbong’s or Merci for souvenirs.

(Note: The tour runs from 8:00 AM to 1:00 PM or 12:00 PM to 5:00 PM. Some attractions may vary based on schedule and accessibility.)

Day 3 Bacolod Iloilo

After breakfast, enjoy some free time before checking out. Transfer to the port for your ferry ride to Iloilo, a short 30-minute to 1-hour journey. Upon arrival in Iloilo, transfer to your hotel for check-in and an overnight stay.

Day 4 Iloilo

After breakfast, set out on a Heritage Tour to explore Iloilo City’s rich history and cultural charm. Discover why it’s called the “City of Love” as you visit its most iconic landmarks and heritage sites. Step back in time at Casa Mariquit, the oldest heritage house in Iloilo, and admire the grandeur of Jaro Cathedral, home to the revered image of Our Lady of Candles. The tour also takes you through Millionaire’s Row, Casa Real, Fort San Pedro, Muelle Loney, General Luna, and the elegant Molo Mansion and Molo Church. Conclude your day with a relaxing stroll along the Esplanade or a local treat at Biscocho Haus.

Day 5 Guimaras Island Tour

After breakfast, embark on a full-day Guimaras Island tour from Iloilo City, with a 1 to 1½-hour travel time each way. Explore the island’s pristine white sand beaches, crystal-clear waters, and unique offshore islets, while discovering why Guimaras is famous for producing some of the sweetest mangoes in the world. Highlights include the Smallest Plaza, a pit stop for mango pizza, Trappist Monastery and Mango Farm, Raymen Beach Resort, the Wind Farm, and a visit to GTEC Pasalubong Shop. Enjoy island hopping to Natago Beach, Ave Maria, the Turtle Sanctuary, and Pirate Cove.

Day 6 Iloilo Manila

After breakfast, enjoy some free time before checking out. Transfer to the airport for your flight back to Manila. Upon arrival, you’ll be transferred to your hotel for check-in and an overnight stay.

Day 7 Manila Airport

After breakfast, enjoy some free time before starting your half-day tour of Manila, the vibrant capital of the Philippines. At 10:00 AM, explore the historic district of Intramuros, also known as the Walled City, where you can experience a traditional kalesa (horse-drawn carriage) or a colourful jeepney ride, depending on availability. Visit the magnificent Manila Cathedral, renowned for its beautiful Baroque architecture, followed by a stop at Rizal Park (Luneta Park), a significant historical site where the country’s national hero, Dr. Jose Rizal, was executed.

At 2:00 PM onwards, you will be transferred to the airport for your international flight, marking the end of your memorable journey in the Philippines.

Can you book my international airfares?

On some Islands Holiday Packages (e.g. Fiji), it is practical to include flights, so where we have done this it is indicated by the plane icon.

However, on the majority of our Holiday Packages, we do not include international flights.

We found that many customers may prefer to:

  • Travel on a specific airline of their choice
  • Have the flexibility to book flights with Frequent Flyer points
  • Select flight dates that may be different to our Holiday Package start/end dates
  • Use a Travel Credit already held with the airline
  • Use their travel agent for this service

We are able to assist with flights on any Holiday Package, so please just notify us during the Book Now process or contact our team.

Should I take travel insurance?

Travel insurance is strongly recommended. During the Book Now process please confirm you require assistance, and our team will be in contact with you.

What should I do before travelling?

Before you travel it is your responsibility to ensure you have the appropriate documentation including visas. If you are travelling on a passport other than Australian or New Zealand, you will require a permit to re-enter Australia. It is your responsibility as the traveller and/or travel booker to meet all government entry requirements.
