Accommodation

Pousada Valença do Minho

Valença
Set within the historic fortress walls of Valença do Minho, Pousada Valença do Minho is a charming 18-room boutique hotel overlooking the Minho River and the Spanish town of Tui. Originally opened in 1962 and designed by renowned Portuguese architect João de Mello Breyner Andresen, the property combines heritage, comfort and authentic northern Portuguese character. Guests can enjoy panoramic river views, elegant guestrooms, a welcoming restaurant and bar, and direct access to the cobbled streets, shops and cafés of the fortified old town. Located on the Portuguese Camino route and at the gateway between Portugal and Spain, it provides an ideal starting point for exploring the Minho region or beginning a Camino journey. Its intimate atmosphere, historic setting and spectacular views make it one of northern Portugal's most distinctive stays.

Parador de Pontevedra

Pontevedra
Located in the heart of Pontevedra’s beautifully preserved old town, Parador de Pontevedra is a historic 4-star hotel housed within a magnificent 16th-century Renaissance palace that was once the residence of the Counts of Maceda. Rich in character, the property combines elegant period architecture, antique furnishings and traditional Galician hospitality with modern comforts. A grand carved-stone staircase, tranquil garden and refined interiors create a distinctive atmosphere, while its central location places guests within walking distance of Pontevedra’s lively plazas, restaurants and historic landmarks. Situated directly on the Portuguese Camino route and within easy reach of the Rías Baixas coastline, the Parador is an ideal base for discovering Galicia’s cultural heritage, renowned seafood and celebrated Albariño wine region.

Torre do Río

Caldas de Reis
Torre do Río is a charming 14-room boutique hotel set within a beautifully restored 18th-century riverside mill in the heart of Galicia. Surrounded by 10,000 sqm of lush gardens, waterfalls and Galician countryside, the property offers a tranquil escape along the Portuguese Camino.

The individually decorated rooms blend traditional stone architecture with warm, elegant interiors, creating an intimate and authentic atmosphere. Guests can relax beside the hotel's natural waterfall pool, enjoy locally inspired cuisine and explore nearby spa towns, coastal villages and the historic city of Santiago de Compostela. Ideal for Camino walkers, couples and slow travellers, Torre do Río delivers a unique combination of heritage, nature and genuine Galician hospitality.

Parador de Santiago

Santiago de Compostela
Housed in a striking 15th-century building right beside Santiago's cathedral, this historic Parador began life centuries ago as a refuge for pilgrims and still carries that heritage in every corner. Vaulted stone ceilings, arched passageways, and rich tapestries line the halls, while four-poster beds and elegant, traditional furnishings fill the generously sized guest rooms — each equipped with satellite TV, a private bathroom, and complimentary Wi-Fi.

The hotel sits directly on Plaza do Obradoiro and is built around four stunning cloisters, offering guests several peaceful lounges to unwind between explorations of the city. Dining is a highlight here: one restaurant serves Mediterranean-inspired fare beneath exposed stone walls and candlelight, while the second focuses on seafood and classic Galician cooking. A full breakfast buffet rounds out the morning.

Tucked into the heart of Santiago de Compostela's atmospheric old town, the hotel is also a short walk — around 10 minutes — from the train station, making it an easy base for exploring the city on foot

Can you book my international airfares?

On some Islands Holiday Packages (e.g. Fiji), it is practical to include flights, so where we have done this it is indicated by the plane icon.

However, on the majority of our Holiday Packages, we do not include international flights.

We found that many customers may prefer to:

  • Travel on a specific airline of their choice
  • Have the flexibility to book flights with Frequent Flyer points
  • Select flight dates that may be different to our Holiday Package start/end dates
  • Use a Travel Credit already held with the airline
  • Use their travel agent for this service

We are able to assist with flights on any Holiday Package, so please just notify us during the Book Now process or contact our team.

Should I take travel insurance?

Travel insurance is strongly recommended. During the Book Now process please confirm you require assistance, and our team will be in contact with you.

What should I do before travelling?

Before you travel it is your responsibility to ensure you have the appropriate documentation including visas. If you are travelling on a passport other than Australian or New Zealand, you will require a permit to re-enter Australia. It is your responsibility as the traveller and/or travel booker to meet all government entry requirements.

For more information please visit - Before you travel | Entire Travel Group

How does a Travel Agent make a booking?

How do I start a Booking?

  • On any page that has Book Now simply follow the booking process.
