Day 1 Whitehorse

Upon arrival at Whitehorse, you will receive a warm welcome at the airport and be transported to Northern Lights Resort & Spa. Spend some time in the afternoon exploring the lodge and making use of its amenities, including the spa, lounge area, and outdoor hot tub. For adventurous souls, snowshoes are available for a self-guided hike. In the evening, join a group after dinner for an Aurora viewing experience while dressing warmly for the season. Professional photography assistance will be provided throughout the tour.

Day 2 Whitehorse

After breakfast, you can go on a thrilling half-day or full-day snowmobiling adventure where you'll embark on a journey through the breathtaking winter landscape of Yukon. As night falls, after enjoying your satisfying dinner, indulge in a guided Aurora viewing experience.

Day 3 Whitehorse

Start the day with breakfast at the resort, you may take the opportunity to visit the Yukon Wildlife Preserve, where you can view and photograph various wildlife species in their natural habitat. Dall, thin horn sheep, mountain goats, deer, elk, woodland caribous, wood bison and moose may be seen from a close vantage point! Experience soothing and rejuvenating hot springs after this wildlife adventure.

After a day filled with wildlife encounters, return to the resort for dinner and prepare for the final evening of guided Aurora viewing.

Day 4 Whitehorse

Then, after a sandwich lunch break, you can relax in the brand-new hot water pools of the natural hot springs and enjoy the fall or winter landscape.

Half-Day Snowmobiling Introduction & Dog Sledding

If you want to experience Dog Sledding and Snowmobiling, you can add one or the other to your package. Dog sledding can be in the sled (sitting) or standing; the snowmobile introduction is on a shared or single sled.

Full-Day Snowmobiling & Ice Fishing Combo

A unique full-day adventure with an experienced and knowledgeable guide who will set you up with a fishing license, helmets, and warm clothing and provide a complete introduction to the snowmobiles. Once everyone is comfortable on the machines, you head out for the day, leaving civilized stresses behind. The beautiful mountain scenery surrounding the lake will captivate you as you cruise down the smooth ice on your snowmobile. Finally, you’ll reach the fishing spot, where your guide will teach you how to drill a hole in the ice with an ice auger and get a campfire to ensure everyone is comfortable. The catch of the day might include Lake Trout or Arctic Grayling!

Can you book my international airfares?

On some Islands Holiday Packages (e.g. Fiji), it is practical to include flights, so where we have done this it is indicated by the plane icon.

However, on the majority of our Holiday Packages, we do not include international flights.

We found that many customers may prefer to:

Travel on a specific airline of their choice
Have the flexibility to book flights with Frequent Flyer points
Select flight dates that may be different to our Holiday Package start/end dates
Use a Travel Credit already held with the airline
Use their travel agent for this service

We are able to assist with flights on any Holiday Package, so please just notify us during the Book Now process or contact our team.

Should I take travel insurance?

Travel insurance is strongly recommended. During the Book Now process please confirm you require assistance, and our team will be in contact with you.

What should I do before travelling?

Before you travel it is your responsibility to ensure you have the appropriate documentation including visas. If you are travelling on a passport other than Australian or New Zealand, you will require a permit to re-enter Australia. It is your responsibility as the traveller and/or travel booker to meet all government entry requirements.
