Day 3 Dubrovnik Konavle Valley Dubrovnik
After breakfast, start your tour to Konavle valley.

You'll embark on a picturesque drive through charming, small villages, starting with Gruda. Here, Antonia Rusković upholds the ancient craft of silk production, one of the oldest textile fibers known to humanity. In the days of the Roman Empire, silk was considered as valuable as gold. In the Konavle Valley near Dubrovnik, women continue this tradition, not for profit but to honor their heritage.
After visiting Antonia's workshop, the journey continues to Ljuta village, where you will have the chance to explore the operational Old Mill known as 'Mlinica Dvori.' This mill still uses traditional methods, with water powering the stone mill. The Ljuta River is home to a network of watermills and stamp mills, comprising eight watermills for flour, two for oil, and three stamp mills. A short walk away, you'll find the quaint 'Vinica Monković' tavern, where you can enjoy a locally prepared, traditional lunch. The duration of this experience is approximately 7 hours.

Day 4 Dubrovnik Orasac Ponikve Ston Dubrovnik
You'll start this journey with a delightful panoramic ride along the Adriatic coastline. Your initial stop will be in the quaint village of Orasac, where you'll have the opportunity to witness a demonstration of traditional olive oil production, powered by a horse-driven mill. Additionally, you can savour some homemade cheese, smoked ham, and wine.
Following your visit to Orasac, you'll head towards the Pelješac peninsula, renowned for its wine, seafood, and salt pans. Your first stop will be the village of Ponikve, where you'll explore a small, family-owned winery known for producing top-quality wine and fresh seafood harvested from the nearby Mali Ston bay.
To conclude our journey, we'll visit the town of Ston, often called the "oyster capital" of Croatia. One remarkable feature of Ston is its extensive 5-kilometer-long defensive wall, the second-longest in the world, only surpassed by the Great Wall of China. Additionally, Ston is famous for its ancient salt pans, where salt is still produced using traditional methods that date back to the time of the Dubrovnik Republic and the Romans. The total duration of this experience is approximately 6 hours.
