Gordes is a timeless beauty, and if you’re visiting in spring or autumn, you’ll enjoy a more relaxed atmosphere compared to the summer rush.

Next, explore Lourmarin, a village steeped in history and surrounded by olive and almond groves. Its architecture spans from the Renaissance to the 19th century, and it has long inspired artists and writers such as Henri Bosco and Albert Camus. Take your time strolling through the streets, and perhaps visit the ancient château that sparked Peter Mayle’s A Year in Provence.

Next, discover Les Baux-de-Provence, a medieval hilltop village offering breathtaking views. Explore its narrow lanes, galleries and the extraordinary Carrières de Lumières—a unique multimedia art show set in an ancient limestone quarry.

If you’re visiting on a Wednesday or Friday morning, you’ll have the chance to wander through the local market and sample regional delicacies.

Next, set off on a panoramic boat ride through the Calanques National Park. Glide past rugged limestone cliffs and hidden coves where the sea shimmers in shades of blue and green—a truly breathtaking natural spectacle. After the cruise, enjoy free time to explore Cassis at your own pace. Wander the quiet backstreets, relax by the harbour or indulge in a leisurely lunch at one of the village’s renowned restaurants, where fresh seafood is a specialty. Your guide will happily share recommendations.

As you leave Cassis, take the scenic Route des Crêtes to Cape Canaille, Europe’s highest sea cliff. Pause at a lookout to admire sweeping views over the Mediterranean and capture photos you’ll treasure forever.

On some Islands Holiday Packages (e.g. Fiji), it is practical to include flights, so where we have done this it is indicated by the plane icon.

However, on the majority of our Holiday Packages, we do not include international flights.

We found that many customers may prefer to:

  • Travel on a specific airline of their choice
  • Have the flexibility to book flights with Frequent Flyer points
  • Select flight dates that may be different to our Holiday Package start/end dates
  • Use a Travel Credit already held with the airline
  • Use their travel agent for this service

We are able to assist with flights on any Holiday Package, so please just notify us during the Book Now process or contact our team.

Should I take travel insurance?

Travel insurance is strongly recommended. During the Book Now process please confirm you require assistance, and our team will be in contact with you.

What should I do before travelling?

Before you travel it is your responsibility to ensure you have the appropriate documentation including visas. If you are travelling on a passport other than Australian or New Zealand, you will require a permit to re-enter Australia. It is your responsibility as the traveller and/or travel booker to meet all government entry requirements.
