Experience the sunny side of Italy and discover the natural wonders of southern Italy during this 4-day journey. Base yourself on the romantic village of "Positano" and explore surrounding towns and islands such as the beautiful Capri Island, one of the most charming and famous island of the Gulf of Naples and a mix of history, nature, worldliness, culture and events and Pompeii with its remarkable ancient ruins buried under ash and mud for thousands of years.

On your last day, relax in Positano and, in the afternoon, travel to Nocelle, an authentic hamlet high above Positano, where you will enjoy a gorgeous view over Positano, the Peninsula and Capri while enjoying a traditional dinner with organic ingredients.

Day 1 NaplesPompeii Positano

Upon arrival at Naples Centrale railway station or Capodichino airport, meet your driver and private transfer to Pompeii. Start a guided tour by a private expert local guide of Pompeii ruins. After a 2 hours visit ,continue to Positano. Transfer to your hotel in Positano and, in the evening, enjoy a welcome dinner at your hotel or in a nearby restaurant.

Day 2 Positano Capri Positano

After breakfast, walk to the port, where you will meet your private guide for the day. Board on public fast ferry and departure to Capri. Upon arrival on the island, you will board on a local boat for an unforgettable tour of the island. The capitain will take you to a cruise around the island by boat, you’ll see the statue of the Scugnizzo, the Grotta del Corallo, the Grotta Bianca, the Natural Arch, Villa Malaparte, the Bay of Marina Piccola, the Grotta Verde, the Lighthouse at Punta Carena. During the tour, stop at the blue Grotto for a visit (weather permitting). Upon return to Marina Grande, your guide will take you by funicular to Capri town center for a pleasant walking tour. Stop at a local restaurant for lunch. The early afternoon will be dedicated to the visit of Augustus Gardens, the little square and surrounding streets. Return to your resort in the afternoon by fast ferry. The rest of the evening is at your leisure to relax.

Day 3 Positano Nocelle Positano

After breakfast at your hotel,the morning is at your leisure to relax discovering the area. In the early evening, transfer from the hotel or nearest pick up point to Nocelle, an authentic hamlet high above Positano, from where you will enjoy a gorgeous view over Positano, the Peninsula and Capri. You will be welcomed by Luisa and her family in her private home, on the top terrace from where you have an unforgettable view at sunset time. You are invited to join her the convivial table where they entertain all guests while tasting the exceptional food cooked with organic ingredients coming from their garden.

Can you book my international airfares?

On some Islands Holiday Packages (e.g. Fiji), it is practical to include flights, so where we have done this it is indicated by the plane icon.

However, on the majority of our Holiday Packages, we do not include international flights.

We found that many customers may prefer to:

Travel on a specific airline of their choice
Have the flexibility to book flights with Frequent Flyer points
Select flight dates that may be different to our Holiday Package start/end dates
Use a Travel Credit already held with the airline
Use their travel agent for this service

We are able to assist with flights on any Holiday Package, so please just notify us during the Book Now process or contact our team.

Should I take travel insurance?

Travel insurance is strongly recommended. During the Book Now process please confirm you require assistance, and our team will be in contact with you.

What should I do before travelling?

Before you travel it is your responsibility to ensure you have the appropriate documentation including visas. If you are travelling on a passport other than Australian or New Zealand, you will require a permit to re-enter Australia.
