Overview

Start your journey in Naples, capital of Campania region and the third largest city in Italy. From Naples, enjoy a guided tour of Pompeii, an ancient city known for its excavations. Depart for Sorrento where you'll enjoy the famous "limoncello" and visit the city with a local guide.

Continue your journey to the island of Capri and take a cruise around the island by boat, you’ll see the statue of the Scugnizzo, the Coral and white Grotto, Villa “Malaparte”, the Bay of Marina Piccola, the Lighthouse at Punta Carena. Your last stop is the stunning Positano where you have 2 days to discover at your own pace the city and its beautiful surrounding coastal towns. Tour ends in Naples.

Day 1 NaplesPompeii Sorrento

Upon arrival at Naples Centrale railway station or Capodichino airport, meet your driver and private transfer to Pompeii. Start a guided tour by a private expert local guide of Pompeii ruins. After 2 hours visit, then continue to Sorrento. Transfer to your hotel in Sorrento.

The rest of the evening is at your leisure.

Day 2 Sorrento

After breakfast at your hotel, depart by a private chauffeur car to Sorrento. Meet your guide and start a pleasant walking tour of Sorrento. At the end of the walk stop at a local limoncello producer for a visit to lemon gardens and tasting of local products made by lemon, limoncello and lemonade.

Lunch at a local restaurant (drinks not included) based on typical Sorrentine specialties.

Return to the hotel in the afternoon. The evening is at your leisure.

Day 3 Sorrento Capri

After breakfast, transfer to the port, where you will meet your private guide for the day. Board on public fast ferry and departure to Capri. Upon arrival on the island, you will board on a local boat for an unforgettable tour of the island around the island: The capitain will take you to a cruise around the island by boat, you’ll see the statue of the Scugnizzo, the Grotta del Corallo, the Grotta Bianca, the Natural Arch, Villa Malaparte, the Bay of Marina Piccola, the Grotta Verde, the Lighthouse at Punta Carena. During the tour, stop at the Blue Grotto for a visit (weather permitting).

Upon return to Marina Grande, your guide will take you by private car to Anacapri to have lunch in a local trattoria based on Caprese specialties.

After lunch, visit Anacapri and the belvedere, and free time for a ride on the chairlift to monte solaro (extra payable locally). At the end of the tour, transfer to Capri centre, accommodation at the hotel.

The rest of the evening is at your leisure to relax.

Day 4 Capri Positano

After breakfast at your hotel, after leaving the luggage at reception for porter service, the morning is at your disposal for a stroll around Capri town and for shopping. In the afternoon, meet your driver and transfer to Capri port where our assistant will give you hydrofoil tickets to Positano. Board on the fast jet, passing Punta Campanella and Nerano you will arrive to Positano. Meet porter to leave your luggage and walk to your centrally located hotel.

The rest of the evening is at your leisure to independently discover the area.

Day 5 Positano Amalfi Positano

After breakfast at your hotel, collect your ferry ticket to Amalfi and board on a public ferry passing the beautiful Amalfi Coast. The day is at your leisure to independently discover Amalfi, its historical centre and its unforgettable views. Return to the hotel in the afternoon by ferry.

The rest of the evening is at your leisure to independently discover the area.

Can you book my international airfares?

On some Islands Holiday Packages (e.g. Fiji), it is practical to include flights, so where we have done this it is indicated by the plane icon.

However, on the majority of our Holiday Packages, we do not include international flights.

We found that many customers may prefer to:

Travel on a specific airline of their choice
Have the flexibility to book flights with Frequent Flyer points
Select flight dates that may be different to our Holiday Package start/end dates
Use a Travel Credit already held with the airline
Use their travel agent for this service

We are able to assist with flights on any Holiday Package, so please just notify us during the Book Now process or contact our team.

Should I take travel insurance?

Travel insurance is strongly recommended. During the Book Now process please confirm you require assistance, and our team will be in contact with you.

What should I do before travelling?

Before you travel it is your responsibility to ensure you have the appropriate documentation including visas. If you are travelling on a passport other than Australian or New Zealand, you will require a permit to re-enter Australia. It is your responsibility as the traveller and/or travel booker to meet all government entry requirements.
