For more exhilarating experiences, venture to the peak of Jungfraujoch, navigating along Europe’s highest altitude rail, and then to Stanserhorn, where you may try the world’s first open-top cable car, “CabriO”. Visit Ballenberg & Transport museums and to top off the experience, savour authentic Swiss cuisine, paired with good music and homemade beer, at the Swiss Folklore Show.

Upon your arrival, transfer via rail from Zürich to Bern and enjoy the rest of the day at leisure.
Following breakfast at your hotel, explore the city on foot with a local guide. In the afternoon, visit Albert Einstein’s Museum and take a glimpse into the daily life of this brilliant physicist. Hundreds of original objects and replicas, films and numerous animations tell the story of a genius – both his groundbreaking discoveries and the private life behind the public figure. The Einstein museum is located inside the Bern Historical Museum.
After breakfast, take the train journey from Bern to Thun. On the short stroll to the landing quay you can catch a glimpse of Thun before continuing on a cruise across Lake Thun towards Interlaken. Enjoy a light lunch onboard. In the afternoon, you will arrive in Interlaken. Take a short walk from the landing quay to the railway station Interlaken-West and make your own way to the hotel.
Today, you’ll enjoy a full day excursion to the Jungfraujoch. The journey to the Jungfraujoch at 3,454 metres - Europe’s highest altitude railway station - is a highlight of every visit to Switzerland. The Alpine Sensation, a subway inside the rock, marks the centenary of the Jungfrau Railway and connects the Ice Paradise with the Sphinx Hall. Late afternoon return to Interlaken via Kleine Scheidegg and Grindelwald.
This morning, drop off your luggage at the railway station and continue by train and bus to ¨Brienz. The Ballenberg Open Air Museum showcases an astounding collection of ancient Swiss buildings, farmyard animals, gardens and traditions of the various regions. Demonstrations of local crafts and special events create a vivid impression of rural life in days gone by in this vast open air museum. Late afternoon continue by train on the Zentralbahn from Brienz over the Brünig Pass to Lucerne.
Today, you have a full day excursion to the Stanserhorn. In the morning, you'll board a paddle steamer from the main pier opposite the railway station and cruise to Hergiswil. Take a short walk to the railway station where you connect to a train towards Stans. From the station in Stans travel right across the old town to the valley station of the Stanserhorn Bahn. The next section is on a vintage railway dating from 1830 followed by the world’s first open-top cable car “CabriO”. The Stanserhorn Rangers are volunteers working on the mountain and will explain everything about the mountain and they have a lot of stories to tell. In the afternoon, return to Lucerne with a direct train from Stans. This evening, enjoy good food and the unique Stadtkeller atmosphere of the Swiss folklore show. Traditional Swiss customs, alphorns, cowbells, flag throwing and yodelling will make your visit an unforgettable experience. Treasure this evening with a unique combination of good food, music and fun. After dinner, return to your hotel for your overnight stay.
This morning, you will check out of your hotel and make your way to the Transport Museum. The Swiss Museum of Transportation is Europe’s most comprehensive museum of travel. The Swiss Chocolate Adventure is a new theme world that allows the visitor to learn interesting facts about the discovery, origin, production and transport of chocolate. It illustrates the entire process from the cultivation of the cocoa bean, and its transport to Switzerland, up to the manufacture and sale of the finished chocolate product. Depart late afternoon and rail transfer to Zürich airport or continue your journey.
