This rail journey combines four of the most scenic routes in Switzerland – Golden Pass, Glacier Express, Bernina Express and Gotthard Panorama Express. Explore the vibrant city of Zurich and its numerous museums and art galleries. Continue your trip to Interlaken, the gateway to the renowned Jungfraujoch, Europe’s highest railway station. You are literally on top of Europe! From Interlaken, board the Golden Pass train. Enjoy a scenic rail ride until you reach Montreux. Montreux beautiful town that sits on the shores of Lake Geneva. From Montreux, take a train to Zermatt, a renowned resort town located on below the majestic Matterhorn. From Zermatt, board the fabled Glacier Express, the world’s slowest express train. This scenic route will take you to the glitzy resort town of St. Moritz. From St. Moritz, board the Bernina Express which will take you to the sunny side of Switzerland, the Tirano region. From Lugano, travel to central Switzerland aboard the Gotthard Panorama Express.

Day 1
Arrive in Switzerland and transfer by rail to Zürich. Day at leisure to explore this modern city. Explore this metropolis of experiences by the water, from Zürich's own mountain Uetliberg to a lake cruise on Lake Zürich. Discover the numerous museums and art galleries and indulge in the exclusive shops along the Bahnhofstrasse.
Day 2
Zürich – Interlaken
A quick train journey takes you from Zürich to Lucerne. Board the Luzern-Interlaken Express for a journey along ;the shores of crystal clear lakes, past romantic waterfalls and over the breath taking Brünig Pass to Interlaken, overlooked by the magnificent trio, the Eiger, Mönch and Jungfrau. (Rail travel via Bern offers a faster connection.) Afternoon at leisure.
Day 3

Breakfast at your hotel. This morning, board the train to Lauterbrunnen, Wengen to the Kleine Scheidegg and the Jungfraujoch. A trip to the world famous Jungfraujoch - Top of Europe is one of the highlights of your journey. Experience the views from Europe's highest railway station, heading up to gaze over the Aletsch Glacier at over 3,454 m above sea level. Return to Interlaken via Grindelwald.

Day 4
Interlaken – Montreux (Golden Pass)
The Golden Pass line is split into three distinct sections. From Interlaken the train follows the banks of Lake Thun before heading into the green alpine pastures of the Simmental. Passing through traditional villages, flowering meadows and alpine forests to the vineyards of the Lake Geneva region with beautiful views of the lake. Overnight in Montreux.
Day 5
Montreux – Zermatt
Breakfast at your hotel. Today will be a more relaxing day. Take some time in the morning to stroll along the lakeside in Montreux, before your train trip to Zermatt. In the afternoon, go for a stroll through this famous Alpine resort or take an excursion to the breath-taking Gornergrat with unrivalled views towards the Matterhorn. Overnight in Zermatt.
Day 6
St. Moritz (Glacier Express)
Breakfast at your hotel. Enjoy the legendary Glacier Express experience in full from Zermatt to St. Moritz, a thrilling journey in a panoramic carriage taking in some of the most dramatic scenery Switzerland has to offer. The journey takes you along the deep Rhone valley, over the dramatic Oberalp Pass and through the Rhine Gorge to glamorous St. Moritz in the afternoon.
Day 7
St. Moritz – Lugano (Bernina Express0
Breakfast at your hotel. Continuation with the Bernina Express through UNESCO protected landscapes and an outstandingly beautiful scenery, travelling along circular viaducts and tunnels over the Bernina Pass before heading down to the border of Italy. The Bernina Express is one of Europe's best scenic rail journeys. From Tirano continue by bus back to Switzerland and Lugano. Overnight stay.
Day 8
Lugano – Lucerne (Gotthard Panorama Express)
Breakfast at your hotel. Travel on the Gotthard Panorama Express to the heart of Switzerland finishing with a scenic lake cruise from Flüelen to Lucerne. Explore Lucerne on foot on your final evening.
Day 9

Enjoy breakfast at hotel before your transfer by rail to Zürich airport for your onward journey.
