Starting your journey in Vancouver, sightseeing options can take you from city to nature, and across air, land and sea. In just one day you can find yourself on a culinary walking tour of Granville Island Public Market to discover home-grown specialties and local flavours, to taking a breathtaking simulated flight over the country with FlyOver Canada; and topping it all off with cruising the harbour in search of seal colonies.

Pick up your rental car and depart Vancouver along the scenic Sea-to-Sky Highway to Whistler, acharming alpine resort town at the base of the Whistler Blackcomb Mountainers.

Take a spectacular drive on the Duffey Lake Road where you will see breathtaking views of Joffre Glacier and onward to Sun Peaks.

Upon arrival in Vancouver, you will be greeted at the airport and transferred by private car to your hotel located in the historic Downtown Vancouver.

Day 3
Vancouver → Whistler

This morning pick up your rental car (SUV with GPS included) and depart Vancouver along the scenic Sea-to-Sky Highway to Whistler. Highlights along the way include the cascading Shannon Falls and the Stawamus Chief Rock where climbers from all over the globe migrate to climb the granite cliffs. Arrive into Whistler by early afternoon.

Day 4

Whistler → Sun Peaks

Begin your spectacular drive on the Duffey Lake Road where you will see breathtaking views of Joffre Glacier. Continue on through Lillooet, known as the land of the Gold Rush Trail to Sun Peaks.

Day 6
Sun Peaks → Jasper

Follow the Thompson River through rolling plateaus to the snowy peaks of the Monashee Mountains. View Pyramid Falls and the expansive glaciers of the Albreda Icefields. Pass by Mount Robson at 3954 metres, the highest peak in the Canadian Rockies. Arrive in Jasper late afternoon.

Time to explore all that Jasper has to offer! Today you can personalize your day by pre-selecting one of three Freedom of Choice excursions:

Day 8
Jasper → Moraine Lake

Today, travel through the spine of the Canadian Rockies along the amazing Icefields Parkway and encompass the ultimate glacier exploration. From walking on ancient ice with the Athabasca Ice Explorer Ride, to standing on a glass platform almost one thousand feet in the air at the Glacier Skywalk (included), today’s experiences will leave you with a special appreciation for this treasured region of the Rockies.

Your accommodation tonight is situated on the shore of Moraine Lake. Famous for its iridescent turquoise colour, Moraine Lake has become known as The Jewel of the Rockies.

The views of the Columbia Icefield have been described by both guests and travel media alike as one of the most spectacular helicopter flights anywhere in the world. Visit North Americas hydrological apex and the Continental Divide, and of course three major Icefields. The views just don’t stop. Usual altitude 10-12,000 feet. Truly an experience of a lifetime!

Moraine Lake → Emerald Lake

A short drive today through majestic mountain passes into Yoho National Park. The word Yoho is the Cree word expressing awe. This 1313 sq. km national park is filled with gem-coloured glacial lakes and waterfalls, snow-covered peaks and dense forests of western red cedar and western hemlock.

Historic railroads, spiral tunnels within mountain sides and steep rock faces where mountain goats roam are just some of the sight to be seen.

Emerald Lake → Banff

Today we suggest taking the scenic Bow Valley Parkway route which runs parallel to the Trans-Canada highway. Be sure to stop at Johnston Canyon and walk along the paved footpath to either the lower or upper waterfalls.
