Your escape starts with a 5 night stay at Moana Sands Lagoon Resort. The resort offers a quiet, intimate environment where you can truly relax and enjoy natures green surroundings and tropical ambience. Located close to the popular Muri Village, the resort is framed with swaying palm trees with a lovely backdrop of the majestic lush mountains. Soak up the sun or explore the lagoon and its rich marine life with complimentary kayaks and snorkelling gear. Enjoy a cocktail or two poolside or lounge around on the complimentary sun loungers and enjoy the stunning views.

You will then fly to Aitutaki for another 5 night stay at Tamanu Beach. The resort offers guests a truly wonderful experience combining a blend of culture, tradition, superb beachfront location and friendly local Cook Islands hospitality. Located near the Arutanga township, the resort has all the facilities one expects of a superior resort. Day 1 Rarotonga Airport Moana Sands Lagoon Resort

Upon arrival at Rarotonga Airport you will be greeted with Fresh "Flower Ei" and escorted to your private transfer to Moana Sands Lagoon Resort. Along the way you will enjoy a refreshing juice or piccolo bubbly with chilled towels.

In an effort to eliminate plastics on the island, you will also receive an aluminium water bottle with pure water for use and keepsake.

Arrive at Moana Sands Lagoon Resort for check-in and enjoy the resort facilities for the rest of the day.

The multi-award winning Ka’ara Island Night is an authentic Cook Islands cultural experience that immerses guests into the history of this 600 year old site through legends told, warrior chants, song, dance, and beating drums. Savour the local delicacies including traditional favourites prepared in an underground oven while embracing our proud Cook Islands culture.

Storytellers Discover Bicycle Tour:
Available on Monday, Wednesday and Friday
Travel the ancient backroads along level to gently sloping terrain, stopping at intervals to enjoy local fruits and stories told by your tour guide. This 3.5 hour tour covers a distance of around 8-12 kilometres and caters to those with basic fitness levels and limited riding experience. Definitely a fun and of course eco-friendly way to discover Rarotonga.

Raro Tours Island Discovery Tour:
Available on Monday to Friday
In the comfort of an air-conditioned vehicle this 3-hour guided tour is a brilliant way to kickstart your holiday before exploring the island on your own. On tour you will discover many places of interest around Rarotonga including popular beaches, cultural and historical sites, local plantations, gift shops and more. Light refreshments provided at the completion of your tour.

After your tropical breakfast check out from Moana Sands Lagoon Resort and take your private transfer to Rarotonga Airport.

A quick and comfortable forty-five minute flight from Rarotonga takes you to the sublime turquoise waters of one of the world's most beautiful tropical lagoons.

Arrive at Tamanu Beach and check-in. The rest of the day is at your leisure.

Days at leisure, take advantage of the many complimentary activities Tamanu Beach has to offer.

While you are on Aitutaki you can enjoy a Lagoon Cruise on the Vaka with lunch and transfers
This superb cruise takes you to three fantastic, remote islets and a snorkelling area where you can feed tropical fish and see giant clams. Visit Akaiami, Moturakau and One Foot Island. Relax, enjoy warm tropical waters and be amazed by the natural beauty of Aitutaki’s world famous lagoon. The Vaka Cruise includes a substantial barbecue lunch with fresh fish and alcoholic beverages and soft drinks are available for sale. Towels, snorkels, masks and fins provided. The cruise provides complimentary tea, coffee and cold water onboard and biscuits for the hot drinks.

Can you book my international airfares?

On some Islands Holiday Packages (e.g. Fiji), it is practical to include flights, so where we have done this it is indicated by the plane icon.

However, on the majority of our Holiday Packages, we do not include international flights.

We found that many customers may prefer to:

Travel on a specific airline of their choice
Have the flexibility to book flights with Frequent Flyer points
Select flight dates that may be different to our Holiday Package start/end dates
Use a Travel Credit already held with the airline
Use their travel agent for this service

We are able to assist with flights on any Holiday Package, so please just notify us during the Book Now process or contact our team.

Should I take travel insurance?

Travel insurance is strongly recommended. During the Book Now process please confirm you require assistance, and our team will be in contact with you.

What should I do before travelling?

Before you travel it is your responsibility to ensure you have the appropriate documentation including visas. If you are travelling on a passport other than Australian or New Zealand, you will require a permit to re-enter Australia. It is your responsibility as the traveller and/or travel booker to meet all government entry requirements.
