Welcome to Avignon, where you will be met and escorted to your hotel in the centre of Avignon.

Buffet breakfast at the hotel.
In the morning, enjoy a private guided walking tour (4h) including the visit of the iconic medieval bridge Pont Saint-Bénézet, also known as “Pont d'Avignon” (entrance ticket included).
Then, you will continue by visiting the Palais des Papes (entrance ticket included). Since 1995, the Palais des Papes has been classified, along with the historic center of Avignon, as a UNESCO World Heritage Site. It is one of the largest and most important medieval Gothic buildings in Europe. With your ticket, you will be able to access into this formidable building, once fortress and palace, it was a seat of Western Christianity during the 14th century.

Day 3 Avignon Aix-en-Provence
Check out after breakfast and take a private transfer to the train station.
Board your TGV train to Aix en Provence, where a representative will escort you to your hotel.
At midday, enjoy a typical French lunch consisting of cheese and wine.
In the afternoon, it´s time for a private guided walking tour. Accompanied by a local guide, he will take you to the highlights and will share historical information. You will discover and learn places such as the Cathedral of the Holy Saviour (Aix Cathedral), the Town Hall (a classical style building of the middle of the 17th century), its many fountains (known as the city of the thousand fountains).
The remainder of the evening is at leisure.
