Day 1 Airport Manila

Arrive at Ninoy Aquino International Airport where our representative will welcome and escort you to your transfer to Golden Phoenix Manila.

Manila, the capital of the Philippines, is a densely populated bayside city on the island of Luzon, which mixes Spanish colonial architecture with modern skyscarpers. Intramuros, a walled city in colonial times, is the heart of Old Manila. It's home to the baroque 16th-century San Agustin Church as well as Fort Santiago, a storied citadel and former military prison.

Day 2 Manila Laoag

After breakfast at the hotel, enjoy some free time before checking out. Take your flight to Laoag, the vibrant capital of Ilocos Norte known for its sweeping sand dunes, striking rock formations, and historic stone churches. Upon arrival in Laoag City, check in at your hotel and settle in for an overnight stay.

Day 3 Laoag City Tour

After breakfast, you’ll be picked up at 7:30 AM for a full-day exploration of Laoag’s highlights. Visit the Provincial Capitol, Aurora Park, Sinking Bell Tower, and St. William’s Cathedral before heading to the historic Malacañang of the North and scenic Paoay Lake. Experience the thrill of a 4x4 ride and sandboarding adventure on the famous sand dunes, then marvel at the UNESCO-listed Paoay Church. Return to your accommodation by 2:00 PM for some leisure time at your own pace.

Day 4 Pagudpud Tour

After breakfast, depart at 7:30 AM for a scenic day tour of Ilocos Norte’s northern wonders. Discover the historic Cape Bojeador Lighthouse and the stunning white limestone of Kapurpurawan Rock Formation. Capture photos at the iconic Bangui Windmills and marvel at the coastal beauty of the Patapat Viaduct. Visit the refreshing Paraiso ni Anton and the picturesque Bantay Abot Cave before returning to your accommodation by 3:00 PM for some leisure time.

Day 5 Laoag Vigan

After breakfast, enjoy some free time before checking out. Travel by private van to Vigan, approximately a 2-hour drive. A UNESCO World Heritage site, Vigan is a beautifully preserved Spanish colonial town filled with cobblestone streets, elegant ancestral houses, and charming kalesa rides. Stroll through the famous Calle Crisologo and explore the lively Plaza Burgos lined with local street-food stalls. Upon arrival, check in at your hotel and relax for an overnight stay.

Day 6 Vigan City Tour

After breakfast, you’ll be picked up at 8:00 AM for a Vigan city tour. Visit the historic Bantay Church and Bell Tower, explore the National Museum, and enjoy a stop at Baluarte ni Singson. Continue to Salcedo Park and the beautiful St. Paul Cathedral before strolling along the famous Calle Crisologo, known for its well-preserved colonial architecture and local shops. Return to your accommodation by 3:00 PM for some free leisure time.

Day 7 Vigan Laoag Manila

After breakfast, enjoy some free time before checking out. Travel from Vigan to Laoag for your flight back to Manila. Upon arrival in Manila, check in at your hotel and unwind for an overnight stay.

Can you book my international airfares?

On some Islands Holiday Packages (e.g. Fiji), it is practical to include flights, so where we have done this it is indicated by the plane icon.

However, on the majority of our Holiday Packages, we do not include international flights.

We found that many customers may prefer to:

  • Travel on a specific airline of their choice
  • Have the flexibility to book flights with Frequent Flyer points
  • Select flight dates that may be different to our Holiday Package start/end dates
  • Use a Travel Credit already held with the airline
  • Use their travel agent for this service

We are able to assist with flights on any Holiday Package, so please just notify us during the Book Now process or contact our team.

Should I take travel insurance?

Travel insurance is strongly recommended. During the Book Now process please confirm you require assistance, and our team will be in contact with you.

What should I do before travelling?

Before you travel it is your responsibility to ensure you have the appropriate documentation including visas. If you are travelling on a passport other than Australian or New Zealand, you will require a permit to re-enter Australia. It is your responsibility as the traveller and/or travel booker to meet all government entry requirements.
