Escape from your daily routine, and soak up the Samoan culture while exploring two of the islands of the Samoan Archipelago: Upolu and Savai'i with this 13 Days Self-drive Holiday.

The largest, Savai’i, is also the least populated. It is wilder, more rugged, and boasts some pretty unique volcanic landscapes while Upolu, which is home to the country’s capital Apia, has its appeal with rich culture, lush mountain highlands, and its share of amazing beaches.

Spend your first night at Taumeasina Island Resort, then receive the car the next day. You can take advantage of the many complimentary activities the Taumeasina Island Resort has to offer or start to discover the beautiful island of Upolu and its capital Apia for 4 days. For the 5th day, you will go to South Coast to explore more highlights of Upolu. Spend your four nights at Sinalei Reef Resort, an adult-only boutique resort that creates an atmosphere of modern-rustic luxury combined with untouched beauty. For the 9th day, you will board a ferry going to Savai'i Island and Le Lagoto Resort, an intimate boutique resort that will be your home for the next four nights.

Day 1 Faleolo International Airport Apia

Arrive at Faleolo International Airport and a representative will welcome you and escort you to your private transfer to Taumeasina Islands Resort.

Day 2-4 Apia

Days at leisure, at approximately 10am of Day 2 your car rental will be delivered to Taumeasina Island Resort. You can take advantage of the many complimentary activities the Taumeasina Island Resort has to offer or start to discover the beautiful island of Upolu and its capital Apia.

Please note that CDW insurance with excess of SAT400 (approx. AUD 210) is included. A compulsory deposit/bond of SAT500 is required upon delivery of the car. This is amount is refundable upon return of the car (conditions apply).

Day 5-8 Apia South Coast

After enjoying a leisurely breakfast, drive to your next accommodation on the South Coast of Upolu Island: Sinalei Reef Resort & Spa.

Day 9-12 South Coast Savaii

After enjoying a leisurely breakfast, drive to Mulifanua Wharf where you will then board a ferry across to Savaii Island. Once in Savaii, reach Le Lagoto resort where you will spend the next 4 nights.

Day 13 Savaii Faleolo International Airport

Check out this morning and depart Le Lagoto Resort. Then, board the ferry from Salelologa with your vehicle and reach the airport for your departure flight. End of the service.

Located on the northern coast of Savai’i, on prime beachfront property you will find embracing its lush tropical surroundings the beautiful Le Lago-to Resort & Spa. Le Lagoto Resort & Spa has 10 spacious stand-alone bungalows. The 5 Ocean View Bungalows are behind the 5 Beachfront Bungalows, but each placed in-between the beachfronts to share stunning views of the ocean and amazing sunsets from their private decks. A number of resort facilities are available for guests to enjoy, including a day spa, an infinity pool, restaurant & poolside bar, laundry & ironing ser-vices.

Can you book my international airfares?

On some Islands Holiday Packages (e.g. Fiji), it is practical to include flights, so where we have done this it is indicated by the plane icon.

However, on the majority of our Holiday Packages, we do not include international flights.

We found that many customers may prefer to:

Travel on a specific airline of their choice
Have the flexibility to book flights with Frequent Flyer points
Select flight dates that may be different to our Holiday Package start/end dates
Use a Travel Credit already held with the airline
Use their travel agent for this service

We are able to assist with flights on any Holiday Package, so please just notify us during the Book Now process or contact our team.

Should I take travel insurance?

Travel insurance is strongly recommended. During the Book Now process please confirm you require assistance, and our team will be in contact with you.

What should I do before travelling?

Before you travel it is your responsibility to ensure you have the appropriate documentation including visas.
