The journey commences with a visit of Rapallo, a charming town on the Italian Riviera coastline, and then continues to Portofino and Santa Margherita Ligure. Upon returning to Genoa, board a ferry to Olbia, the gateway to the pearly white beaches of Sardinia. Head to Palau and then cross the Mediterranean to the enchanting islands of Maddalena and Caprera for amazing sightseeing and swimming opportunities. Find more stunning, powder-fine white sand beaches as you sail onto the Emerald Coast, one of the most beautiful and famous coasts in the world. Travel to the other side of Sardinia to uncover the treasures of Stintino and Capo Caccia. Don’t forget to sample delicious local delicacies before moving on to Alghero, a medieval city encircled by ancient walls. Explore the town’s cobblestoned centre to gain insight into its colourful culture and history. Visit Castelsardo and Santa Teresa before returning to Olbia to board a boat back to Genoa.

Day 1
Genoa – Cinque Terre – Olbia

Depart early to visit Rapallo, famous for its colourful architecture. You then move on to Portofino. In the small port, during the high season, you can see expensive yachts from every part of the world. Your last stop is in Santa Margherita for some free time for lunch before returning to Genoa to board the ferry to Olbia. Overnight in a first class inside cabin.

Day 2
Olbia - Maddalena and Caprera - Palau

Arrival in Olbia at 8:30 am approximately. Leave for Palau for a short break in order to drop your bags off at the hotel. You will then travel to the islands of Maddalena and Caprera. You’ll find not only beaches and fun but also culture and history.

Day 3
Costa Smeralda

Today, you’ll enjoy an excursion through the Emerald Coast. The city of Arzachena makes part of this extremely appreciated and famous area. Rich nature, “Mediterrane an macchia”, rocks built by nature, wonderful beaches in clear sea water, promontories and small islands. Free time to spend on one of the best beaches of the island before returning to your hotel. 

Day 4
Palau - Stintino - Capo Caccia – Alghero

Breakfast at the hotel then you travel to Stintino, a village famous for its beautiful beaches in front of Island Asinara. Later, continue to Capo Caccia, the west tip of the wonderful Porto Conte Bay. Here, you’ll be invited to taste one of the typical local cakes, biscuits, candies or cheese cake. Following some free time for lunch, you’ll travel to Alghero, a town which is surrounded by beaches. Visit the city centre and afternoon at leisure. 

Day 5
Alghero - Castelsardo - Santa Teresa - Olbia

Following breakfast at the hotel, travel to Castelsardo, an old and wonderful village, then continue on to Santa Teresa. This place is the symbol of a fusion between nature and modern tourism. Enjoy some time at your leisure for lunch. Before you transfer to Olbia to board the boat back to Genoa, you will have an opportunity to taste the mirto, the typical local liqueur made by myrtle. Overnight on board. 

Day 6

Disembark in Genoa early for you transfer to the station or airport for your onward journey.
