A big thank you to Entire Travel Group with a special thanks to Alison. We had mostly organised our own overseas holidays in the past but being unfamiliar with Canada we thought we would approach a travel agency. Thinking the travel agency would help us we were surprised to be handed a couple of booklets and told to go away and come back when we knew what we wanted to do. One of the booklets was Entire Travel Group so after viewing what was available we decided to contact you directly. That decision changed the Entire course of our traveling experience, excuse the pun. We sent an email to the Entire Group and over the next few days had spoken to Alison who listened, was knowledgeable and responsive to our requests, questions and doubts about travelling to Canada. At the conclusion we had holiday package which we could have only dreamed about. Alison and the team worked wonders and we were extremely happy with a holiday that was brilliant.
⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ We have just returned from a wonderful independent trip through Canada organised by Sam Treby at Entire Travel. Sam took the time to understand what we wanted and put together an itinerary that suited us perfectly. The accommodation, tours and travel arrangements were all excellent and everything ran smoothly throughout the trip. A particular highlight was the interactive itinerary, which was detailed, easy to use and invaluable while travelling. What impressed us most was that the service didn't stop once we departed. When a question arose during the trip, Sam responded promptly and resolved it for us. It was reassuring to know that support was only a message away. We thoroughly enjoyed our Canadian adventure and would happily recommend Entire Travel and Sam to anyone planning a similar holiday.

The climate in Portugal varies considerably from one region to another and is influenced by the proximity to the sea, which offers mild winters, especially in the Algarve. In the Porto & Norte area and Centro region, particularly inland, nearer Spain, the winters are colder, although the temperatures are still mild when compared to the rest of Europe. The summers are warm and dry, especially in the inland areas (Trás-os-Montes in north-eastern Portugal and Alentejo).

High Season (Jul–Aug): High temperatures are commonplace and warmer ocean temperatures with highs around 28 °C.

Shoulder (Apr–Jun & Sep–Nov): Wildflowers and mild days are ideal for hikes and outdoor activities. Lively festivals take place in June

Low Season (Dec–Mar): Shorter, rainier days with freezing temperatures at higher elevations. Attractions keep shorter hours, and many beach lodgings close for winter.
Portugal has an extensive railway network, making for scenic travel between destinations.
The One Country Portugal Pass from InterRail gives you unlimited travel on any three, four, five, six or eight days over a month (2nd class and 1st class).
Tram lovers shouldn’t miss the charming relics rattling through the narrow streets of Lisbon and Porto.
Other than river cruises along the Rio Douro from Porto and the Rio Tejo from Lisbon, Portugal’s only remaining waterborne transport is cross-river ferries. Commuter ferries include those across the Rio Tejo to/from Lisbon and across the mouth of the Rio Sado between Setúbal and Tróia.
Self drive holidays give you the freedom to explore your own way in your own time. No early starts, no crowds or being herded around. Portugal’s modest network of estradas (highways) is gradually spreading across the country. Main roads are sealed and generally in good condition. To rent a car in Portugal you should be at least 25 years old and have held your driving licence for more than a year. The widest choice of car-hire depot is at Lisbon, Porto and Faro airports.
- Planning to hire a car in Portugal? Be aware travellers from other countries than EU, USA and Brazil should obtain an International Driving Permit (IDP).

Main International Airports of Portugal are - Aeroporto de Lisboa (Lisbon) Metro trains head downtown 20 minutes, frequent departures 6.30am to 1am. AeroBus departs every 20 minutes from 7am to 11pm. Private transfers to the centre takes 15 minutes; Aeroporto Francisco Sá Carneiro (Porto) Metro do Porto violet line E (direction Estádio do Dragão) links to downtown Porto, around 45 minutes. Private transfers to the centre and take an hour; Aeroporto de Faro (Faro) Proximo city buses 14 and 16 run to the bus station every 30 minutes from June to August, slightly less frequently in low season. From the bus station, it's an easy stroll to the centre. Private transfers take around 10 minutes;
