Barcelona, the vibrant capital of Catalonia, seamlessly merges culture, art and a cosmopolitan atmosphere with sun-kissed beaches and world-class resorts.
Catalonia, an autonomous community of Spain, boasts a unique identity, including its own language, Catalan, and intriguing traditions like the human towers, or "Castells." The city's architectural wonder, the Sagrada Família, remains a work in progress, a testament to Barcelona's dedication to art. Quirky traditions like the "Tió de Nadal" add charm to Catalan culture, and the region's culinary delights, including "paella" and "crema catalana," draw food enthusiasts. Barcelona also showcases the Montjuïc Magic Fountain and an array of unusual buildings, while Catalonia's historical heritage is intertwined with Roman ruins. Each October, Tarragona hosts the Human Tower Festival, and the region is renowned for its cava production in the Penedès region. My travel partner and myself have just returned from our trip to Switzerland ( May 2024 ) and wanted to put in writing our utmost gratitude to Katelyn Mulgrew and the team from Entire Travel Group for the professional, prompt and extensive service provided from start to finish. Kate was there with us every step of the way and answered any question or concern we had in a patient and understandable way, which left us with reassurance and confidence. Switzerland Grand Tour was amazing with picture postcard scenery at every turn. Every aspect of the booking was flawless, from the hotels, transportation and documentation it all worked seamlessly. Hotels were comfortable, central, welcoming and contained everything a traveller could need.
