It is here that King Clovis was baptised around year 498 giving birth to the Kingdom of the Franks and starting a long lasting tradition: except two, all of the Kings of France would be crowned here!

On the way to Epernay, we take you to the Marne Valley on a journey through the vineyard to meet with another prestigious figure: Dom Pérignon who finalised the process to elaborate Champagne. Located in the heart of town, Epernay is internationally known as the "Capital of Champagne". Epernay’s stunning main street appears like an exhibition of opulent mansions housing the most illustrious Maisons de Champagne: Moët & Chandon, Perrier-Jouet, Mercier, etc. Not to mention the 100km of tunnels under the pavement!

In Roman times Dijon was a crossroads between northern Europe and the Mediterranean. In the 14th century it was here that the Valois Dukes of Burgundy founded one of the most brilliant courts in Europe. Dijon then became the seat of the order of the Golden Fleece. From the Renaissance onwards, the townhouses of the Nobles of the Robe reshaped this “City of a hundred towers”.
Dijon's pedestrian streets wind between medieval houses, churches and Renaissance townhouses. The Place de la Libération, created by Hardouin-Mansart, is one of the loveliest squares in France. In summer, its sunny café terraces are perfect for a city break.

Tour and wine tasting in a local domain in Beaune
This Domaine is an important vineyard in the Côte de Beaune. The wine cellars and the winery are located in Beaune, in the Place Saint-Jacques. Its owner, Yvonnick, has extensive experience in the wine world, having worked for twenty years in sales of Burgundy wines in the French market. The area offers a wide range of different wines, classified under various names, including several 1st Crus and Grand Crus, whether white or red. He produces different appelations like Saint-Aubin, Meursault 1er Cru "Les Charmes" and Corton-Charlemagne Grand Cru.

Atter lunch, depart for the Route des Grands Crus. Sightseeing along the Grands Crus road and stop at the famous Romanée-Conti. Considered as the most prestigious name of Burgundy, this plot of 1.8 hectares produces the most expensive wine of the world. Picturesque drive along the Côte de Nuits through the villages of Nuits-Saint-Georges, Vosne-Romanée and Vougeot. Discover the “Champs-Elysées” of Burgundy. We will take advantage of being in those prestigious vineyards to explain the Terroir and the different steps needed along the year to harvest the best Pinot Noir possible. L’expression du Terroir”.
Enjoy a guided tour of the Clos Vougeot. Founded in 1098 by monks, the vineyard of Clos de Vougeot covers 50 hectares. The castle houses the brotherhood of the knights of the tastevin. Its wines are ones of the most famous in Burgundy with a Grand Crus: Le Clos Vougeot.
Then, continue with a tour and wine tasting in a local domain around Nuits-Saint-Georges. Visit the cellar and share an authentic moment with the winemaker around a tasting of his best Pinot Noir wines.

After breakfast, we suggest that you explore the historic city centre of Avignon. Stroll along small hidden squares where you may choose to stop for lunch at one of the restaurant or cafe terraces. Perhaps enjoy some shopping on the Rue de la République.
A visit to the Popes' Palace (entrance fees included), the largest Gothic palace in the world! Built in less than 70 years by the Popes, today there are 25 rooms open to visitors. At one point it served as military barracks and is now used regularly as a theatrical stage and a cultural setting for prestigious exhibitions.

After breakfast, drive to the amazing Pont du Gard (entrance fees included). The Pont du Gard is the largest part of a Roman aqueduct that led for 50 km, and is the highest Roman bridge in the world.
Then, make a stop at Saint Remy de Provence! Do you know Saint Rémy de Provence? If not you should not miss it! It is known as a haven for artists, writers and musicians, as the birthplace of Nostradamus and a village where Van Gogh sought refuge.

After breakfast, leave for Aix en Provence. We recommend that you stop along the route and check out:
- Isle sur la Sorgue... The "chineurs" - lovers of beautiful objects d'art, galleries and antique shops will be delighted as there are nearly 300 antique dealers in this small town!
- Gordes...Rising up as a citadel and offering views of landmarks from its past: a majestic fortified castle and massive church all surrounded by unusually tall buildings (for the era) overlooking a precipice with narrow streets below, making it possible to escape assault of the Mistral winds.
- Roussillon...Located in the very heart of the biggest deposits of ocher in the world and is consequently distinguished by a palette of vibrant colours.

Founded by the Romans during the 1st century BC the city was a town of warmth called Aquae Sextiae. From these origins, Aix-en-Provence preserved many of its monumental fountains. Strolling the streets you'll appreciate how superbly maintained the ensemble of 17th and 18th Century buildings are, making this town one of the most distinguished in France. The St-Sauveur Cathedral and cloister offers a rich panorama of medieval architecture.
Be sure to visit one of its picturesque food markets, helping to make Aix-en-Provence the gastronomic capital of the region. Near the city centre, the Montagne Ste-Victoire perfectly evokes the memory of Impressionist painter Paul Cézanne who immortalised it on canvas numerous times.

This lovely and classic Provençal harbour has, since the age of time, been protected by its high calcium-rich cliffs acting as a perfect to shelter for maritime vessels. In the Roman period, the city was not only known for its coral trade, but also for its links with the Middle East and Northern Africa. Nowadays Cassis is prosperous thanks to thousands of annual visitors who come in search of its cultural authenticity, glorious sunshine, and spectacular ancient architecture. So many tiny chapels, fortifications and old houses surround the harbour.

Make a stop at the village of Trets, an ancient medieval town that has preserved remains of its ramparts dating from the 12th and 13th centuries. Beautiful old houses with mullioned windows are to be discovered, as well as some passages under the vault. The superb and imposing 12th-century church of Notre Dame de Nazareth, with its unfinished bell tower, is a listed historical monument. Trets offers a beautiful view of the Sainte-Victoire massif.

After breakfast, we recommend a visit to Grasse, 15km from Cannes, and 300-400 metres above sea level, it's a breath of fresh mountain air in a setting of green forests and caves. Although the fourth largest city in the Alpes-Maritimes, Grasse and its surrounding countryside are places of real vacation and rest.
Another must see on the bucket list is Saint Paul de Vence. Medieval walls encircle narrow streets and capture the heritage going back over a thousand years. Picking out the signs of its history, either alone or with a guide, is to enter into the soul of Saint-Paul de Vence.
Visit to the Fragonard Parfumerie - Factory and Museum in Grasse (entrance fees included). Crafted here daily in the heart of the old town, this exquisite perfume and soap factory was established in a 19th century building - one of the earliest manufacturers in Grasse.

The Old Town of Nice is made up of tall tenement houses lined up along narrow and shadowed streets. The ground floors are occupied by restaurants, shops, and the galleries of local artists. You can buy everything here, from Provencal spices to hand-made jewellery and cosmetics. Just go in and let yourself be carried away by the past, which is still very much present here.
Promenade des Anglais, always elegantly flowered, follows the harmonious curve of the Baie des Anges, was originally only a two-metre wide trail. It was built at his own expense in 1820 by an Englishman, the Reverend Lewis Way. It was immediately baptised by the local population the “Route of the English”. In its final form, two roads separated by a ground-floor planted with palm trees, the “Prom” was inaugurated in 1931 by the Duke of Connaught, one of the sons of Queen Victoria.

But it’s not just a static offer – you have complete flexibility from travel dates, passenger numbers, single supplements, room upgrades, optional extras, flexible booking terms and more.
- Our team will contact our overseas suppliers and confirm all arrangements.
- A Confirmation from our reservation system will be sent in the coming days.
- The Booking Number on this confirmation supersedes the website reference.
- To confirm a booking using our on-line Book Now process, a credit card must be used to pay the refundable deposit.
- For additional payments on the booking, Entire Travel Group supports bank transfer, credit card, TravelPay B2B, PaymentGate.

On some Islands Holiday Packages (e.g. Fiji), it is practical to include flights, so where we have done this it is indicated by the plane icon.
However, on the majority of our Holiday Packages, we do not include international flights.
We found that many customers may prefer to:
- Travel on a specific airline of their choice
- Have the flexibility to book flights with Frequent Flyer points
- Select flight dates that may be different to our Holiday Package start/end dates
- Use a Travel Credit already held with the airline
- Use their travel agent for this service
We are able to assist with flights on any Holiday Package, so please just notify us during the Book Now process or contact our team.
If a package on our website does not include our Peace of Mind Booking Plan, it will not be available to Book Now.
Due to the boutique nature and limited capacity of some travel experiences offered, they have strict payment and cancellation policies. (e.g., a remote bear lodge in Canada with only a few cabins).
Although technically possible, we have decided that it is impractical for us to try and sell these type of travel services on-line. We believe it is important that such product is discussed, so that we can ensure these strict payment and cancellation policies are understood before we proceed with a booking.
For such product we may act as an agent only for the principal suppliers. Where we act as agent, your contract for the delivery of travel arrangements will be with the principal supplier and will be subject to their Booking Conditions.
We will advise you prior to confirming your booking if we are acting as agent and we will confirm the details of the principal supplier. Our responsibility to you where we sell travel arrangements as agent for the supplier is specified in the ‘Responsibility’ section of our Booking Conditions.
Travel insurance is strongly recommended. During the Book Now process please confirm you require assistance, and our team will be in contact with you.
Before you travel it is your responsibility to ensure you have the appropriate documentation including visas. If you are travelling on a passport other than Australian or New Zealand, you will require a permit to re-enter Australia. It is your responsibility as the traveller and/or travel booker to meet all government entry requirements.
